TomTom puts on a kinky leather suit

Advantages: cheap, classy leather looks, keeps the TomTom protected
Disadvantages: there are no disadvantages unless you are allergic to leather

...OK, you've just bought your TomTom GPS system and stupidly left it in your car to be stolen faster than a blink of an eye. OK, that?s just my stupidity, but after replacing my unit I decided that to ensure it was easy to carry around and would act as a subtle reminder I would buy a carry case. Looking around for the right one is a bit of a mission as there are so many different types available. In the end I opted for the carry case shown at the top of the screen mainly because it looked slightly different, wasn't made from durable plastic and was only £25. Every other carry case I had seen was like a box, not too dissimilar to the case provided for face units of car audio equipment and as I already have to carry this around with me, I didn't like the idea of a briefcase packed full of plastic, instead I was drawn by the idea...

TomTom One GPS

Advantages: Easy to Use, Cheap with All the Functions you really Need
Disadvantages: Being Told to Keep Right on Motorways. Can be Distracting.

...Great little unit. This piece of kit is a lifesaver. Not only can it help you with directions but I'm sure it will save more marriages than coucilling. No more arguing over poor directions or where to go. The system has many useful functions. 1. Basic GPS - To get from A to B. This can be via postcode, location name etc. Generally very good just get to the area you know and let the TomTom take you from their. See downside point 2. 2. Points of interest - Can include anything from restuarants & cinenas to your local funeral dirctor - Many free sites to download from. 3. Speed camera details. 4. Speedo - My 2002 Mondeo underclocks by about 10% and I've only just noticed so I can now get everywhere 10% quicker without worrying about speeding - This is Great news. 5. TomTom Go910 The best GPS on the market

Advantages: fast, accurate, great support, tons of worthwhile features

...I ended up getting the TomTom 910 as a result of a crap experience with the Navman 720. Best mistake I ever made! The TomTom was recommended to me by several people but I wentmy own way and bought the Navman 720. I like the looks of it and the inbuilt camera. I had nothing but problems. In the end, the company I bought it from offered me the pick of the GPS systems they sold - after much research I chose the 910. Whereas the Navman would take upto 3 or 4 minutes to get a full signal where we live, the 910 picks up its signal within a minute. It's ability to say road numbers and street names is very useful but using this means you can't use te many available celebrity voices. ...The TomTom carry ONE case, is specifically designed for the Tom Tom portable sat nav (any version) but can also be used for almost any other sat nav on the market. Dont take my word for it but have a look at one before you decide to buy it for your non TomTom sat nav. On the whole the carry case is very good and there isnt much to fault it on, with the case having a nice feel about it (feels like wet suit type material) and an easy to use zip (no fuss pulling it hard if your using it for a tomtom) I would only have to say that for other satnav's it may be a bit more of a squeeze to get it into the pouch, with the zip becoming a little more dodgy. The concept of the carry case, however is an essential one. An average satnav can cost upwards of £150 and it would be a wise idea to fork out around a tenth of that price to protect...

The shop sells:- hair accessories nail varnish belts purses jewellery and more You can also have your ears pierecd here too. I've been in the shop a couple of times now to buy hair accessories and nail varnish. There is a wide range of items to choose from in different colours. As soon as you go through the door though, they are lunging a hand basket at you. If you do not take one they do not seem too pleased about it either. When you are paying for your goods, they always ask if you want to buy the bargain of the day like a nail file. They do not seem to be satisfied with what you take to the counter at all. ...I know a lot of people that when you say Claire's Accessories they would say oh that shop for teenagers but it isn't for them only, it's for girls in general. Females I should maybe say it sells a lot of things that are not too expensive but very nice still. From the branches I have been in I have seen them sell make-up, nail accessories, bags, books and so many things. This shop is not only in the UK because I saw t in America so I don't actually know where it started. One main thing I know this shop for is piercing ears they are trained I'm sure but I don't think I could trust anyone. TomTom Wireless GPS Receiver 20 channel GPS receiver module

...I dont have a 20 channel receiver however I do have a 12 channel receiver which came in the box with my Tom Tom Navigator 5 for PDA, whichi I use in my Treo 680 Smart Phone. The whole thing works perfectly and I couldn't ask for more as Sat Nav goes. The GPS receiver looks identical to the 20 channel one shown here and if this one works as well as mine does then you can't go wrong. It has a matt cover which makes it stay put where ever you place it on the dashboard and in use I've found that it picks up a signal very quickly and once linked to the PDA by bluetooth it keeps the signal so long as it can see just a tiny bit of sky. Once linked I take the unit off the dash and place it on the floor of the car in between the seats and it keeps the signal through motorway tunnels and even during a traffice halt under a bridge!
