...I dont have a 20 channel receiver however I do have a 12 channel receiver which came in the box with my Tom Tom Navigator 5 for PDA, whichi I use in my Treo 680 Smart Phone. The whole thing works perfectly and I couldn't ask for more as Sat Nav goes. The best GPS receiver I have seen yet!

Advantages: Tiny, appealling, accurate, powerful and desirable.
Disadvantages: Rubber cover for DC power supply breaks off easily.

.... Of the external appearance, only one thing bothered me, and that was the rubber cover for the DC power supply (to the lower left of the image shown). The rubber was so soft, that it felt rather anaemic. The device is supplied with a large capacity 1700mAH Li-Ion battery. When you see how small this GPS receiver is, you'll be even more amazed that about half of that size holds the battery. The battery fits...

TomTom Urban Rider - seriously dumbed down sat nav

Advantages: It gets you to your destination... eventually, minimum expectation of Sat Nav to be honest
Disadvantages: Pretty much everything except what has been kept from the old model.
