...Apple makes an entry into the world of mobile phones with the release of the iPhone, a cutting-edge piece of technology aimed at revolutionising the cellphone industry. I recently bagged an iPhone and a fair share of delights and disappointments along with it.
The Good:
-Amazing, state-of-the-art touch pad system that facilitates much accuracy, innovative commands (eg, zoom by pinching and stretching) and multi-touch recognition by simply using one's fingers
-2MP Camera: although only 2megapixels, the camera is of very high quality
-WiFi, Edge, Bluetooth, SSH support
-Built-in, high quality Internet Browser (Safari), Youtube Application and Email Application
-Google Map Application, capable of "emulating" a GPS-like system
-iPOD integrated into phone, iTunes support, Standard Audio Format support
-POTENTIAL: The integrated OS...

Review of Apple iPhone
Advantages: great look, easy to use interface, many useful aplications... and so much more Disadvantages: Bluetooth technology is limited, internet access is slow
...way to access the internet. However, the phone which is currnetly only on O2 at the moment shows that apple really have what it takes to dominate the mobile phone market.
I urge you all to gt an iphone, they are so easy to use, they look great, and a team of well educated staff are always there in apple shops to help you if you have any problems.
another minor detail about this phone which puts me off, is that you cannot transfer data between phones via bluetooth, obviously this is to prevent pirate songs being sent across apples interface, but it would be nice to be able to send photos to a friend via bluetooth instead of using the internet.
the camera is two mgapixel which is fine for a phone and can comfortably take good quality photos with it.
Also, the voicemail function is a brilliant idea that apple have enhanced their moble...

Review of Apple iPhone
...-saved, so you don't have to worry.
Nevertheless little screen (of course It's huge for mobilephone), It's really easy and comfortable to use Safari. iPhone be good for watch things from internet, because you see the website all over the screen.
As I said, in the iPhone, there is also iPod Touch, and of course, It's best mp3 player to get right now. You can change your songs with your finger, just move your finger along the screen. Of course sound quality is really good, not like some other phones, what sound quality is really poor. It's real pleasure to listen good music, with good sound quality.
Nevertheless camera size, as you know It's really small, but picture quality is amazing for that size camera, and It really impressed me.
In addition, there are also application shop named App Store, there are thousands of "App'e".
Also there are...

Review of Apple iPhone
Advantages: Wonderful user interface, class-leading internet features, huge range of applications, fun to play with Disadvantages: Expensive, perhaps not too robust, only available on O2, some bewildering limitations
...organisations as a mobile e-mail device.
** Maps and Music **
Many of the iPhone's other internet-enabled features are equally suited to pleasure as to business. Particularly impressive is the mapping feature. If you've ever used Google Maps or any of the similar web sites, this will be familiar to you; the phone can download very detailed worldwide mapping data, both in the form of traditional road maps and Google Earth-style satellite mapping. Locating a destination and displaying a route between two locations is as easy as pie. The novelty is that the iPhone 3G contains a GPS receiver, or what lots of us would call a sat-nav; this allows the phone to track your location in real time and calculate personalised route directions, as well as showing you local amenities. For such a compact device, this is astonishingly accurate and very useful...

Review of Apple iPhone 3G
...Hello!
My son has been great fan of bob the builder for quiet sometime. But as time goes - he is 6 now- he grow up from some of his baby toys. And just few days ago I have cleared his bedroom from his old and baby toys. And there was quiet some of them and in good condition so I thought that I will take them to the charity shop.
But as I was packing them his younger sister was sort of helping me. As I was putting the toys in the bag she was taking them out. And she has find bob mobile phone and started to play with it. So I can say that I have clear my boy bedroom to his sister bedroom. And I just clean it up with only few toys going to the charity shop.
Since them my little girl is waking the phone and saying: ?bob on the phone?.
I do like vetch toys but my kids love them.
the toy
The phone is shape of bob...
...This is a warning message from a buyer who bought his phone from this didgy website - mobilephonesdirect.com. I bought a N97 brand new phone with T mobile contract. I was very happy for about a week, then on the second week the phone started to behave odd. It deleted all my files and was coming up with message saying 'memory is in use'.
I called up mobile phones direct but the person was quite rude the way he handled the call and told me to write email to their webshop and also said there is no live customer service support. The email service would take 5 days to send a reply back. (quote from their website - "Here at Mobile Phones Direct, we're committed to providing you with the best customer service in the mobile phone industry" [http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/customerServices/index.aspx])
So I did email their web shop...
Advantages: Stylish, fast, too many applications and uses to name!! Disadvantages: poor battery life on some applications, camera isnt great, no video.
...I have had my iphone for almost a year now and it is easily the best overall mobile phone I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, it is not without its problems, but once you have one of these beauties for a while you will fall in love with it.
Apart from the obvious sleek good looks, the iphone has changed the way I do a lot of things in my day to day life. This is helped by Apples brilliant "App store", where you can download a seemingly endless array of applications, some free, and others you have to pay for (although they normally cost less than £1). These range from games to social networking (Facebook etc) to sports to health & Fitness to news etc etc etc. The list seems to go on and on.
I have found that since getting my iphone my home pc has barely been used at all. I can use the phone to take photos, although I have to admit...

Review of Apple iPhone
Advantages: Touchscreen, easy to use Disadvantages: Slightly confusing menus
...Previously had a Samsung, loved it's simplicity and the fact it was flawless. Everything worked, easy to use yet still up to date with technology
However, I recently lost the it and was given an iPhone, this phone is way 'cooler' than any phone I have ever had.
Apple are taking technology in mobile phones way further than other brands I feel, ok there are flaws but where there are flaws there are exceptions with other cool gadgets that have made me completely forget about comparing it to my previous mobiles. For example, Google Maps, easy to use and very sufficient Internet use, amazing screen quality with touch screen buttons that actually work... really well too!
In fact the touch screen buttons is one of the main reasons I recommend this phone, although Sony Erricson and other brands have reached into touchscreen I don't feel any...

Review of Apple iPhone
Advantages: Great interface. Excellent Music Clarity. Disadvantages: Limited Official Apps
...iPhone. The greatest device since GSM was first created? Yes and No. I've had the iPhone for just over 4 months and I have mixed feelings over the device. I used ZiPhone to unlock mine from AT&T in the US for use in Ireland.
Out of the box the iPhone is intruative (It has to be as a Manual is not included in the box). The box included a small quick start guide, a headset and the various connectors. Set up with iTune is a breeze even for a newbie.
The Home Screen on the iPhone differs from most WIndows based Smart devices as a simple press closes the running program down. I own a HTC Touch aswell and found it much easier to upgrade and customise than the iPhone. While the iPhone has a huge and diverse 3rd party App community you may have to wait a long time until an App you need comes about. However, once they are released you can...

Review of Apple iPhone
Advantages: applications for everything, really intelligent and attractive phone Disadvantages: the really good applications can be quite expensive, battery needs charged more often
...Having purchased an iPhone in the last few months I have to say that it has to be the best mobile phone that I have owned. At first it takes some time playing about with it and admittedly a couple of phone calls to Apple support to discover exactly how to get the most out of the phone and to get my head around using it but actually when you do get over the initial newness it is one of the easiest phones to use.
The iPhone has all the typical basic functions of any standard mobile phone but it then goes beyond that as i have been able to download loads of applications, there is a range of apps many are free and others have a charge for downloading them. Some of the applications i have downloaded are sky news, euro sports, games, facebook, and i am even learning Italian on my phone. The style of the phone and the way you can store your...
