Graham NOTton
Advantages: Used to be very funny so re runs are hillarious.
Disadvantages: Gone a bit too conservative for me.
...'t as funny as he used to be.
Graham in the old days!
Back when the show was on channel 4, it was hillarious. Some of the things which he came out with on his show were both outrageous and hillarious, but I think he was very much an aquired taste in comedy, very camp and quite rude. He used to show "gadgets" which had come out that week, and alot of the time these would be sex toys and other funny things, and the stories he would talk about weren't the norm which you would have on This Morning over a cup of tea with biscuits!
Graham Now
Now the show is a little less raunchy, although some of the guests who come onto the show do get a bit naughty, but he has toned it down quite a lot, now maily plugging books, DVDs and CDs for the celebrities he has on the show, with a bit of general natter in between as you do...

FREE DVDs
Advantages: Free trial, large choice, post included, new realeases
Disadvantages: see review
...I like movies and I like freebies, so when you get offered both in one swoop you?re bound to accept! I used my two week free trial with this company and remained with them for a couple of monthsbefore moving on to try many other companies free trials (and winning a new DVD player on Tesco DVD rental site on their free trial offer). I then had an email from DVDs 365 asking me to go back, and offering me a free DVD if I did so. I had just left Tesco (with my new DVD player) so I chose to go back with them.
∆◊◊ THE SERVICE THEY OFFER ∆◊◊
Basically it?s like going to a video shop and hiring films on DVD, except you don?t pay for each film you chose ? rather a monthly fee for which you can watch as many movies as you can fit in, for us this is usually around 8 a month (2 a week usually weekends...

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54
Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.
...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied.
On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. All the components such as cables, remote and manuals were well presented in their own protective plastic bags, to keep them protected. The player...

Ever After - Graham Swift
Advantages: Authentic voice gives character a true identity
Disadvantages: However, it can become quite irritating
...what all the separate words mean.
"These are, I should warn you, the words of a dead man." This is a significant and surprising beginning which aims at startling the reader, the words are striking and puzzling. It seems that Graham Swift does not intend to help the reader in the understanding of the novel.
The title bears some significance; it seems that Ever After is not a fairy tale even if it hangs heavily with magical connotations. Ever After is used several times throughout the novel, on occasions as far as the relationship between Matthew and his wife is concerned, and also it acts as a bond between love and knowledge. As the novel progresses it seems the Ever After might have been a fairy tale but it looks like "romantic love" is a made up thing, a concoction of the poets.
The story moves quickly and both the pre - war world...

Graham Swift's Waterland, a beautifully written novel
Advantages: A book deeply concerned with how a convoluted childhood and past can affect the present
Disadvantages: Long descriptions of landscape and history can become tedious at times
...what historians tell us happened? In this way there is the illusion that the past can be changed, and by telling stories we feel as if we can change past mistakes, and prevent the past from catching up with us.
Although Thomas spends much of the book confronting his past, he is actually trying to avoid it. The intuitive Price discovers this, by saying ?explaining?s a way of avoiding the facts while you pretend to get near them? Through this we can see that although Thomas is telling the story of his past, he does not accept that it affects him and the person he is. He does this by viewing it very clinically. Yet it does affect him. Ian Brinton said ?We cannot escape from our history and we need it in order to give some patterning to our everyday lives?
Graham Swift is also concerned with the Circularity of the past. He shows that...

Graham Done Good!
Advantages: Definitely his best solo album - and that's saying something
Disadvantages: Some songs aren't as good as they could be
...I ordered this album from Amazon as soon as it was announced, so that I could get it within the first week of it's release. Blur are my favourite band and I've got all of Graham's previous solo albums, which range from pretty good to just about tolerable :-P however, this has enough to better his past 4 albums combined, and to provide possibly one of the best indie rock albums of 2004.
I got the album in the same order as 'Meltdown' by Ash, which I listened to far much more than this initially. I gave this a go, but it didn't catch me as quickly as Ash's album did, so I stuck it into my CD collection and let it gather dust for a few months. In November (6 months after it had been released), I randomly decided to give it a go again and I'm glad I did. I listened to the 45 minutes with absolute joy and have listened to it many more...

Hilariousley Graham Norton
Advantages: Its really original
Disadvantages: cant thik of any
...It comes around to 10:30pm and for some reason Channel 4 just seems to forget that absolutley anyone can watch the telly!
Right then, EVERYBODY UP!!! Remain standing if you have ever been caught doing something rude in a public place.
A few people remain standing while Graham bounds over to one of them and Quizes them about thier conquests, always managing to raise a laugh from the audience and probably anyone thats watching at home.
The quality of Grahams guests is excellent, anyone from Joan Collins to Steven Gaitley. And Graham always manages to interact his guests with parts of the show, for example he has a computer and accessess the net and looks at wierd websites, often phoning the people who are responsable for the website and asking them some really embarrasing questions.Hi is very good at double entendres!!
When I...

Graham Norton
Advantages: It's so disgustingly funny!
Disadvantages: Not suitable for the young or old fashioned!
...Graham Norton is probably one of the best late night chat shows around at the moment, channel 4 have certainly hit the ratings goldmine. I've watched the show from day one, and it never fails to make you laugh. The shows consists of three parts. The first part starts with a joke, and then a dirty question posed to the audience, in which people respond with a dirty answer. The first guest comes on, they chat, and then a break.
The second part sees the second guest, some more chatting, webcam, and doggie fone (in which Graham rings up somebody and asks them awkward questions... very funny!)
The final part ends with more chatting, and a game which involves the audience making something at home prior to the show and then bringing it in, only to be mocked by Graham. The show is very funny, but also amazingly rude, so beware. It also...

so graham norton and so funny
Advantages: FUNNY
Disadvantages: .....
...If you are a fan of rude but hilarious comedy and you are not tuned in to channel 4 at 10.30 on a friday night then you are missing pure comedy chat!
Graham Norton has emerged onto channel 4 in a blaze of glory! He has not been around long but has built a reputation you could fry eggs on! The cheeky comic invites his guests on to the show and lets them watch members of the audience humiliate themselves and their family or friends! The show is split up and follows a seemingly usual pattern.
It starts with everybody standing up and people sit down as Graham asks a question. You are left with a few people left who all have a rude or funny story to tell! The people on the show have to be the most disgusting and wierd you will ever see! Mothers telling how their son got the dock to lick him! (to graphic for further discussion) is...

Graham Coxon - Happiness In Magazines reviewed
Advantages: What the Blur of old would sound like in 2004
Disadvantages: Not enough stunning tracks, too many with potential
...I first heard a song on the radio and they refused to tell who the person was until after. After hearing the song (Freakin' Out), I had come up with Johnny Rotton for the 'i don't care' vocals and Graham Coxon for the little guitar bits. After triumphantly finding out it was Coxon, I realised that this was a fantastic song and, whilst Blur's new direction is not all bad, their strong point was when Coxon's songwriting was harnessed by Damon Albarn and that their loss was a tragedy.
1. Spectacular
A solid opening track leaving you singing 'You are, something quite spectacular'. Not a track that will be released. 7/10
2. No Good Time
Not really a quick nor slow song, it makes for an easy-on-the-ears album track. Not much more, not much less. 6/10
3. Girl Done Gone
A bluesy track that is mournful in vocals, yet...
