...A Grand Time In Gran Canaria After a rather over-worked summer, and a few of my own personal problems I needed a good long break where I could forget the alarm clock and completely relax. My normal preferred holiday destination is Magaluf/Majorca, but I felt like going somewhere different, and this time not just for a lively holiday, but a more scenic holiday. All of my friends had been to Gran Canaria before and raved about it for ages, and when they suggested for me to come along with them this year, for a two week break, it was too good an offer to refuse. We booked our self-catering holiday with Thomas Cook as a holiday package - flights, holiday and transfers. The total cost of our two week holiday £380 each. So in the words of Peter Kay (comedian)?..Packed it! Booked it and f*^*ed off! Now my holiday started...

...I have just come back off my holiday to the amazing resort Playa del Ingles. I walked along the Dunes at Maspalomas. I would differently go back there again. There is something for everyone at Gran Canaria for example mini-golf, swimming, go-karting for kids and for others windsurfing, sea fishing, scuba diving, jet skiing, golf, tennis and squash. They also have waterparks and camel safaris plus zoos. Three of the main zoos are Palmitos Park, Reptilandia Park and Parque De Crocodilos. First of all there is no time difference. You need no jabs. The buses are very cheap and come regularly. Car hire is available and petrol is 31p per litre. Tempratures on average are between 65-75F. The coolest months are from December to April, but even then the lowest it gets is 70F. Summer tempratures are from 75-80F. This...

Gran Turismo 4: 'Road Rage Racing'

Advantages: Wide range of cars, Excellent graphics, Lots of circuits, Amazing gameplay
Disadvantages: No damage to cars and takes a while to complete.

Eastwoods best, Gran toino

Advantages: In depth story and great characters acting
Disadvantages: Kind of offensive(racist)

Though him self served as an ex-Korean war veteran, He has become an uncanny racist towards that of Korean race. The movie mainly evolves around walts day to day life, Overtime he has done the same routine day in day out, drinking beer on the porch,living with his dog and resenting the Korean neighbors. Slowly but surely gangs start to infest the area, And its not long until mistakes are made and gang wars begin. lets down the other gran turisomo's

Advantages: nice cars

...Im a fan of racing car games especially gran turismo when you have to earn the liscences and build up your cars to win the races so was a little dissapointed when playing this game when it was released. It doesnt seem anything like the other four titles as for liscencing or car upgrading which dont seem to exist on this game. I also found that there was a limited number of tracks to play on which after a little while gets boring because they are so easy to master in a short period of time. As for the cars (the best bit in this game) they were quite good until i realised i couldnt take them to a gargage to upgrade. Its basically buying a car winning a few races on the same track with it.... buying a new car and doing the same thing... game finished. Although the graphics in gameplay were good :O) I ended up selling my game within...

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Advantages: amazing graphics, online play, true racing experience
Disadvantages: repetitive, poor online options, glorified demo

...Before i start please bare in mind this is a just glorified demo of not a full game, so dont expect the world! I picked up a copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on release day after being a loyal fan of the series and blown away by the level of detail gone into the game. With 4 different classes to try and pass there is plenty to keep you occupied with. Im a fan of racing games and generaly race in the view inside the car and the detail of normal is minimal but GT5 prollouge take it to the next level. You can clearly see the time and effort put into making the cars as accurate as they could in and out of the car. Even the tracks seem to of been made inch perfect to their real life counter-parts. Only problem is that there is only 6 tracks, but these can be reversed to make you get a further 6 'new' tracks. But enough of the detail...

...This is the new standard of racing, with its amazing standard of graphics creating a resolution of 1080p/i.There are over 70 cars to choose from. The only problem is, is that the game is lacking in racing tracks there are only six but they are so gripping you can not get bored of them. If you want to play this game with a friend in your own home don't be put of by the box only saying it's a one player game there is a 2p battle option. Though this game is not the full game it is not a disappointment. With this game Gran Turismo have made the cars as realistic as possible. Not only have they given extreme exterior detail, they have made the interior of the cars exactly as they are in real life. ...I stayed at the 4 star Gran Tinerfe December 2006 for Christmas and New Year. Me my dad and brother had never being away for Christmas, which made us curious on what actually happens in a foreign country at Christmas time in a hotel. Christmas day we booked a gala meal which was like an 8 course meal I'm a fussy eater so I didn't really enjoy it as much as everyone else, but my dad loved it, there was duck and all the trimmings and they had alternative meals for vegetarians. On new years and Christmas I think we got free wine (let me know if I'm wrong) my memories pretty bad, but I must say new years was the best new year of my life! It was planned to perfection. We had our New Year gala meal and then the living room areas were set up with lots of booze etc and we were all giving party hats and other party treats in this goodie bag...
