Climb Europe: This guidebook covers all the major sport climbing on the island of Gran Canary. In total 14 separate rock climbing areas are documented detailing over 750 routes across a wide range of grades. The style of the rock climbing ranges from sea cliff climbing, low level crags to the nation park of Tamadaba at an altitude of well over 1000m. At the start of each climbing area there is a brief description, details on how to get there, a location map and information on when it is the best time of the year to climb. All the routes are illustrated on full colour photo-topos with French sport grades used throughout. Published in 2011 this guidebook is written in Spanish and English text. There are many stunning photographs in this guidebook showing the excellent climbing to be found at Gran Canary. Number of pages is 144. Size is 150mm x 210mm (A5 format).

A wide range of symbols highlight various facilities and places of interest, including campsites and youth hostels, beaches, sport and leisure facilities, etc. The maps have a UTM grid for GPS users. Map legends included English. Street plans of main towns or holiday resorts are also provided. In this title: contour lines are at 100m intervals, with relief shading, spot heights and plenty of names of peaks, mountain ranges and other geographical features. Boundaries of the national park and other protected areas are marked. Overprint for hiking trails indicates steep sections and paths suitable only for experienced climbers.
