...of beating the computer then why not show the online world how good you are by beating random strangers that think they are really good or just try and beat your friends. There is also a new feature called Gran Turismo TV where you can find out what is happening in motor racing all around the world or if you don't want to know that you can watch Top Gear and work out the best car for you to buy. To be honest although its a good price it is only really a demo you may aswell wait for the full game to come out....

Gran Turismo 4: 'Racing Perfection'

Advantages: Wide range of cars, Excellent graphics, Lots of circuits, Amazing gameplay
Disadvantages: No damage to cars and takes a while to complete.

...Introduction Gran Turismo 4, also known as GT4, was released on 9th March 2005 and has since been re-issued under Sony's Platinum version of the game. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Advantages: amazing graphics, online play, true racing experience
Disadvantages: repetitive, poor online options, glorified demo

...Before i start please bare in mind this is a just glorified demo of not a full game, so dont expect the world! I picked up a copy of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on release day after being a loyal fan of the series and blown away by the level of detail gone into the game. With 4 different classes to try and pass there is plenty to keep you occupied with. Im a fan of racing games and generaly race in the view inside the car and the detail of normal is minimal but GT5 prollouge take it to the next level. You can clearly see the time and effort put into making the cars as accurate as they could in and out of the car. Even the tracks seem to of been made inch perfect to their real life counter-parts. Only problem is that there is only 6 tracks, but these can be reversed to make you get a further 6 'new' tracks. But enough of the detail...

...I bought Gran turismo 4 prologue Limited edition (includes "Making of Gran Turismo 4 DVD) as soon as it hit the shops. They released this in order for you to prepare yourself for the challenges that you face in GT4. Basically it is a prelude of whats to come. It is only a 1 player game and you need an 8Mb Ps2 Memory card in order to save your game (uses a minimum of 150kb). It is compatible with analog control and vibration function. I will start by saying just how much i thourougly enjoyed playing this, in my opinion Gran Turismo 4 is one of the best racing games available to buy. Gran Turismo

Advantages: good graphics

...can then enter a higher championship which improves you skills more and gets you more money. At the start of the game you are given £10,000 to buy a car. If you can buy a 4wd car because the handling is better and braking is improved. Then simply and modifications to your car and you wil win more money. Then buy a better performance car but still race you original one so you can save money to spend on your new car. Then once you are sure that the performance will be good then you can race your car. The game is brilliant and i would recomend it to anyone. The latest release is Gran Turismo 2 and i have not played it yet. I you have the money and a playstation and the money to buy this games then buy it....

...Im a fan of racing car games especially gran turismo when you have to earn the liscences and build up your cars to win the races so was a little dissapointed when playing this game when it was released. It doesnt seem anything like the other four titles as for liscencing or car upgrading which dont seem to exist on this game. I also found that there was a limited number of tracks to play on which after a little while gets boring because they are so easy to master in a short period of time. As for the cars (the best bit in this game) they were quite good until i realised i couldnt take them to a gargage to upgrade. Its basically buying a car winning a few races on the same track with it.... buying a new car and doing the same thing... game finished. Although the graphics in gameplay were good :O) I ended up selling my game within...
