From Mauritius to Rodrigues...

Advantages: Nearly everything- too long to list
Disadvantages: Have to stop by Mauritius first, extended holiday can get boring

Review of Rodrigues Island (Mauritius)

Mauritius - A paradise

Advantages: Beautiful, very friendly people, fresh fruit and fish
Disadvantages: Not much to do outside your resort

...I went to Mauritius on my honeymoon in November 2007 and absolutely loved it. We stayed at the Movenpick Hotel in the South of the Island. When we arrived at the airport we were picked up by someone from the hotel who drove us back. The drive was interesting, the island produces a lot of sugar cane so most of the fields you could see were full of sugar. We drove through quite a few shanty towns...
