For those times in life when you just want to be beside the seaside and lull yourself to sleep to the sound of lapping waves, there a few better places to stay than a hotel right by the beach. Luckily, The GrandHotel in Torquay ticks that very box. Founded in 1881, the interiors aren't quite as historic as that, but it's worth noting that this beachside hotel is traditional in decor and may not appeal to modernists. On the other hand, it has great facilities, a top location for a relaxing break by the sea and we think it's cracking value for money. The Grand Leisure Club has two pools, a Jacuzzi, sauna and tennis court. The indoor pool is open year-round. There's also a full-equipped gym and an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant that serves delicious modern British dishes. For fresh sea air and snuggly winter walks along the beach, this could be just the trick. See our offer details below to find out what's included.

Advantages: Modern and stylish hotel in Glasgow Disadvantages: none
...On a recent weekend away to Glasgow, my wife and I stayed in The Grand Central Hotel, which is perfectly situated in the centre of the city. In fact the hotel adjoins Glasgow Central train station so is in a brilliant location for all the sights and the nightlife. This Grand Central is an iconic hotel which in its heyday had guests such as Laurel and Hardy and Frank Sinatra....

...?s ?From a Distance? which rose to fame through Bette Midler?s version.
Late Night Grande Hotel is Nanci?s 9th album, and was released in 1991. I would say this is a little less country sounding than some of her other albums, and although couldn?t be classed as ?pop? music as such, does have a bit more of a pop vibe about it. The track listing for this album is as follows:

...small bars of soap and 2 body/shampoo gels. Hubby was promptly sent off to find another bath towel as we?d passed a housekeeping cart on our adventure trying to find our room. I?d also note that the bath towels in the rooms in The Grand Metropole are the size of hand towels I?ve seen in other hotels.
