512mb memory unit - too small?

Advantages: SMall and easy to take around with you and for storing game saves
Disadvantages: Expensive and a hard drive would be far more beneficial

...If you purchase the xbox arcade console then you will get one of these 512mb memory units free with the console. However if you opt to go for either the premium console or the elite console you will get the main hard drive for free and will have less need for these. These small memory units are both advantageous as they are small and compact and suitable for certain tings. However they are on the other hand quite pathetic compared to the 20gb or 120gb hard drives which are also available on the market. I currently own both a 20gb hard drive and one of these 512mb memory units as well. 512MB: Saved Moments

...brands like Kodak and so on but the Kingston ones seemed to be coming up a lot in my searches and I had heard of them before for USB drives and they seem to have a good name behind them. Their memory cards come in all sizes from 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and the one I have 512MB which is probably one of the smallest but it is fine for me for now. Most Kodak cameras will accept an SD card but there are other types as you will see when you go to print off your photos. On the side of my camera is a door and there is a slot for the camera where you just click in your SD card and then the memory mounts up instantly. I also know that my laptop is SD compatible and so I just slide the card into the slot at the side and then my photos load up without the hassle of a USB cable. I know most Dell laptops come with this slot and I have a Sony Vaio so I'm guessing...

Disadvantages: Doesn't have any Swiss Army Knife accessories

...with USB 1.1 ports but it doesn't work with those in my keyboard. The transfer of data is as fast as any other flash drive I have used. The drive comes preloaded with security software to prevent unauthorised access to your data although this only seems to be compatible with Windows machines. Overall this a decent USB stick that works well and is a more attractive design than most. It feels very durable and well put together. 512MB isn't a huge amount of memory these days so I would recommend going for at least the 1GB model. Some people may prefer Victorinox's other USB Swiss Army Knives which have the usual knife and accessories in addition to the USB stick. However, for transporting data, especially on planes, this device may be the sensible option....

It has two modes shuffle which randomly chosses songs for you to listen to! Great fun when you want a suprise. The other mode allows you to listen to the songs on the order that they were placed on to the device. The shuffle is great for those who likie a random playing of music. However may be tedious for those how always wish to listen to a certain song as you have to flick through your entire playlist until you locate the song as the shuffle has no screen!
