It is also very small and sleek and is probably similar size to a credit card - though of course a bit thicker. I think it looks really cool and is great and compact. Benefits: This memory unit being of only 512mb can be used in the whole for storing game saves which of course can be very important and need to be saved and kept somewhere safe - and this is the perfect option. You can also store your xbox live account on here as well as putting some pictures and maybe some music on here. This will all of course be limited to 512mb. You can also download and save stuff from the xbox live marketplace, but again you will be limited to how much you can download...

Sandisk 512Mb memory card

Advantages: Small, reliable
Disadvantages: The lock feature is delicate

...So the SanDisk SD flash memory card 512MB. Well as a start like most memory cards these days , its nice and small ( perfect for getting lost if your not careful). Despite its size its nice and long lasting ( well mines still alive anyway..or it was the last time i used it) you get a ncie handy case, you know incase you like accidently sit on it or something. So 512MB , its a pretty good amount of memory for camera use , but if you really do like to get out there and basicly film your entire life, you\'d probably be better off with more memory, i recomend the 1gb or 2gb sandisk memory card. So what a lovely shade of blue, hmm, yes its a bit boring compared to other memory cards, but what do you expect, half the time you cant see it anyway because its inside a device. I found that the card can be read and written really fast...

Asus 9600GT 512Mb Graphics Card

Advantages: Very powerful, Cheap, Only uses one slot on the motherboard
Disadvantages: Stock cooler is loud

...A great piece of kit at a great price! Usually with graphics cards the general saying is 'you get what you pay for'. In the case of the 9600gt this is definatly not true. For roughly £95 you are getting high definition quality graphics. The card itself comes presented in a nice looking box. Supplied with all the usual connectors and drivers. Installation is a doddle, and there were no problems updating the driver software from the website (one little downside that i had to do). However, this card boasts amazing performance, it has run Call of Duty 4 & 5, Left 4 Dead and Medal of Honor Airbourne all on the highest possible settings, which is fantastic on such a cheap card! The only downside i can see from this card is the stock cooler that is supplied with it, the 60mm fan is very loud and very whiney. So perhaps an after market...

These memory units are also popular for transferring data between two hard drives (copy the file from hard drive A onto memory card, then copy the same file that is now on the memory card onto hard drive B) The product is fine for the casual gamer who primarily wants to store their game saves, but there's little point in buying a 512mb Memory Unit if you already have the 256mb Unit that comes with the Arcade Console unless you plan on using it for portability reasons or transferring purposes. If you're seriously planning on upgrading from a 256mb Memory Unit to a 512mb Memory...

My GeForce 8400GS 512Mb Graphics Card

Advantages: Good quality, plays games on relatively high, not too big, cheap

I bought this card last year around october and since then, I have had no problems with it until recently, where I took it out of my case, having finally been irritated too much by its extreme sound. Maybe it was just my card, but it was VERY loud. The computer was loud with it in, now its a very nice hum. The card was very good, with a decent picture and good with playing games like Halo Combat Evolved, Hitman 2 and it played Half Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source quite well. I also used the nVidia control panel and maxed out the global settings, and it still ran perfectly. When I monitored the temperature of the card, I was surprised to see it quite high, around 65* and that was when it wasn't being used. So overall, my only issue has been that its sound level was very high, but I believe it was something grating...

...Apple products. Compared to the iPod shuffle, I would have to say this appeals to me much more, as there is screen display and user-friendly software. I also found the microphone really useful for learning presentations and the track encoded is really cool! This feature enables you to plug in the Creative to any earphone plug and record from... well anything!
