In this bat they, once again, manage to get a good pick up and balance, something I find quite hard to find, especially on slazenger and newbury bats. One also has the option of being able to customise where you want the middle, for example, lower down if you intend to play on damp soft pitches, or higher up if the grounds are harder and somewhat bouncier. Gray Nicholls- a cut above the rest?

Advantages: glorious bat in the hands with a great middle
Disadvantages: quite a heavy bat requires good strength and speed

...In my experience of Gray-Nicholls bats there has been a mixed bag, Gray Nicholls rate all their bats with stars and the rating is from one to 5 (5 being the best) now I have used a 3 star bat right up to the 5 star ones and i'll tell you now that if you want to be the batsman of the season and hit 100's of runs then the bat to get is a Gray-Nicholls with a 5 star rating. Many top international and county players use them and they perform time and time again. Most of their bats are made in England with premium english willow anyway which automatically makes them a cut above the rest. I believe they are very average and are made to look so good because matt hayden and andy symonds use these bats, hence the publicity, as these two players are some of the worlds greatest! Predator 2 is set in Los Angeles and follows Lieutenant Mike Harrigan (Danny Glover) who is involved in a battle to bring the drug lords to justice. However when these criminals are being slaughtered, along with fellow police officers, Harrigan is told to stay out of it, but he is shocked when his investigations reveal, that a powerful extraterrestrial being is responsible. He discovers the Predator (Kevin Peter Hall) is hunting humans and collecting their skulls as trophies. However it could prove difficult to defeat the Predator as it can turn invisible and blend into the background. ...Since we first saw the jungle warrior come to earth in Predator, we wanted to know more about the Yautja species. Why were they there? What planet were they from? And we do they insist on taking their masks off and showing us their damn face-vaginas? The Predator has been depicted as an humanoid extraterrestrial, who possess advanced technology to aid him in killing his prey. The species follow a code in which they refuse to kill unarmed, ill or pregnant prey (this was hinted at in the 1987 film, when an unarmed Anna (Elpidia Carrillo) was never attacked; and when the Predator removed his armour to face Dutch in a fair fight). That's pretty much all you're gonna learn about the species from the movies. The truth is: You're not really going to know much more about Yautjas unless you read the comic books or play the video games...
