Greasy Haired Rocker in Head and Shoulders Shocker

Advantages: I have no dandruff, so it works!
Disadvantages: It was better before.

...I realise that I have just destroyed any competition I may have had for the "Worst Title on a Debut Opinion" prize on ciao, if such a thing exists. But it made me laugh when I thought of it, and I'm still laughing now. Which proves nothing, I guess, except for how easily pleased I must be. Except for when it comes to my hair. I am not the greasy haired rocker of the title. Yes, I am a rocker. Yes, I have naturally greasy hair. But my hair is more akin to Andrex - it's soft, strong, and pretty long. Oh, and it's dandruff free. Apart from one of the above, Head and Shoulders is the reason. I have been using Head and Shoulders for around twenty years now, with very few complaints. Miracle for greasy hair

Advantages: cleans and refreshes hair without washing, smells nice, not too expensive, does what it claims
Disadvantages: runs out quite quickly

...Batiste Dry Shampoo My hair has a tendancy to become greasy very quickly. I could wash it in the morning, straighten it and then by evening I would look like a grease monster. If I use any styling products such as hair serum or heat protection sprays its even worse. Seeing as I don?t want to have to wash and straighten my hair two times a day I decided to give Batiste Dry Shampoo a go. It comes in a green and yellow can which doesn?t look overly attractive but nevermind, im not buying it because its pretty! In addition to having greasy hair, if I wash my hair too often I get a dry sore scalp so every now and again it does me good to leave my hair for two days without washing it, so this product seemed like the ideal solution. ...I am one of the unfortunate people in the world who suffer from greasy hair. This was never a problem I worried about in the past ? after all I quite enjoy waking up every morning and having a shower. However, when Oliver was born this became increasingly difficult! He usually wakes me up in the mornings now, so we have to go straight for a nappy change and then breakfast. Review of Sunsilk Shampoo For Hair That Gets Greasy Too Quickly

Great for short thin hair

Advantages: Heat very quickly
Disadvantages: Unable to cope with my thick hair

...I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would recommend these to anyone with shorter or thin hair. A fashion conscientious male friend of mine used these and loved them and were perfect for his short hair. I would recommend using the straightening oil with these as they are very hot and I did find a few burnt strands of hair ....

Good Hair Day? Definitely!

...I've had these hair straighteners for roughly six months now and have used them probably every day since I was given them, so I feel fairly qualified to give my opinion: that I really can't recommend them highly enough!! The quality of GHDs is unbeatable - I've used a lot of hair straighteners in my time, and I've got to say that they really do give consistently good results. They heat up in roughly fifteen seconds, and you can straighten hair very quickly in a rush with a fairly good finish - which as you can imagine saves huge amounts of time in the mornings! Generally, unless your hair is remarkably stubborn, the hair will also stay straight for the duration of the day. ...I am not ashamed to admit that my hair is prone to greasiness, maybe this is not the sort of thing most people openly admit, but I don't telling you, die to the fact that you will never see my hair looking even slightly greasy! I have seen far too many teenage girls ridiculed for the dirty shine they are wearing to let my hair even get near that state, but this can often mean quite a bit of work.
