...Great Ocean Road Day Tour **GO WEST** Go West is a touring company which specialises in small group size tours. It is a day tour from Melbourne which will take you to the Great Ocean Road. This tour company has something which I have never seen done before and that is they provide you with a PSP on the way home so you can watch a movie (they have several choices). They even have an educational video about the Great Ocean Road. If you want this service you will have to produce a passport, credit card or Australian drivers licence as a deposit for security. You will get it back as soon as you hand the PSP back. **TOUR** This tour cost me $95 which included morning tea. Advantages: Punctual and clean.
Disadvantages: No trolley service; difficult to buy tickets in advance.

I found it easy to look up times of trains and prices of tickets on the website, and it soon became obvious that buying two single tickets in advance was usually cheaper than buying a return. NatWest - a Student-friendly bank

Advantages: Easy to set up, great overdraft facility, great student credit card
Disadvantages: Solo/Maestro - you have to make sure you have the right debit card

I don't use text alerts and don't know anyone who does, but that option is also available. The Credit Card Yes, the scary bit. NatWest will give you a student credit card, should you so desire. You do have to apply for this, and of course you're not guaranteed to get it, but it's much easier to try and get a credit card with your bank than anywhere else. Applying for my credit card couldn't have been easier. I asked a cashier how to go about it, she gave me the form to fill in, and that was it. At the time NatWest were the only bank offering me an “incentive” to join and it was a £10 gift voucher so my Card Plus account was opened and I was a customer of the nasty NatWest. I was given a Solo card with my cashcard account by NatWest. A card that most banks only give to customers who are aged 16 or over. A Solo card is a debit card designed for young people, see my opinion on it for further information. Advantages: Interesting, dramatic, good characterisation, authentic feel for the GDR
Disadvantages: Rather unbelievable middle section

  NatWest - super service until theres a problem!

Advantages: Until you have a problem, they're great. Very quick to spot potentially fraudulent activity on your account
Disadvantages: Absolutely dire at sorting out any problems you have have - expect long delays with no explanation

In fact, if asked, at one point I would have quite happily heartily recommended them to anyone. The service I used to receive in my ex-local branch was second to none. Even handier was that a few years ago they even started advertising that they would only ever have UK based call centres too so you were assured you'd be able to understand those people on the other ends of the telephones if you ever neede to ring them.
