...The wait is finally over and Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 has finally arrived. I was eagerly anticipating its release, so much so that I pre-ordered it the first day that it was available to do so. The original Modern Warfare and World at War are probably my 2 favourite games of all time, so would one of the most hyped up games of all time, live up to expectations ? ~~~ First Impressions ~~~ Right from the beginning I was impressed. The adverts before the actual game are again skippable, which means you're ready to start shooting in seconds. The green green grass of Greece.

Advantages: Much greener than greek islands in the east,some traditionally greek,not bad prices
Disadvantages: Can be rainy,some resorts overdeveloped

Fourka in Halkidiki (Greece)

Advantages: Gorgeous weather, fantastic people, great scenery
Disadvantages: Could perhaps do with a bit of a tidy up in places ?!

...My boyfriend and I wanted a cheap holiday - a week in the sun where we could relax and do not a lot basically! We booked an internet deal through Thompson Holidays for £190 each (incl. flights, transfers and accomodation) for a week in Self Catering appartments. Our flights were from Birmingham to Thessaloniki (which is the nearest airport to Halkidiki). The flight took around 3 hours and we then had an hour and a half transfer from the airport to our resort - Fourka. Halkidiki is split into three penisulars, Kassandra, Sithonia and Mount Athos. These are near the north of main land Greece and are surrounded by the Aegean Sea. Kassandra and Sithonia are supposed to be the livliest of the three, although they are not busy or crowded. Kefalos, Kos, Greece

Advantages: cheap to eat out, nice weather and clear blue sea and plenty of water sports
Disadvantages: People of Kos don't seem to like tourists, Windy

...Me and my boyfriend went to Kefalos in Kos this year on our first holiday together. It took us a while to decide if this was where we wanted to go but for the price we couldn't refuse. We paid £179.00 each for a week self catering. We stayed at Kefalos Studios. Our Apartment was very basic, had a shower room, 2 single beds, kitchen and a balcony. Basic but nice. The only disadvantage here was that there wasn't a pool with the apartment but we only had to walk a few yards to use the public swimming pool which was very clean. By the pool there was also a 24 hour supermarket which was very handy (especially for my boyfriend who got up late one night and decided he wanted a packet of Haribo!!!!!!). We spent most of our time on the beach. The sand was way too hot to lie on and the sun was very hot so I would definetly advise you to hire a sun...

==Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Gameplay==

Advantages: Compared to the first modern warfare they have added driving in the story and its more detailed.
Disadvantages: To be honest, besides a few environmental graphics, it looks to be the shooter of the decade.

...Call of Duty Modern warfare 2 looks amazing if you?re a halo freak you will fall in love with this first person shooter. It's very detailed. They even switched the map to the screen on your gun unlike any game I have seen before. As far as if you just want to buy the game, and not go online to play, the story line features are so much better. You can even drive on this epic 1st person shooter. The disadvantages to this game as far as I can see are only a few visual slumps like every once in awhile a car will not look as realistic but everything else is wonderful. If you?re looking for a gift for a gamer or just want to try an epic 1st person shooter then this is the game for you....

Call of Duty modern warfare 2 Worth it???

Advantages: Brilliant graphics, very good onine multiplayer, nice features added which orignal did not have.
Disadvantages: quite a complex storyline

...The most eagerly anticipated game of the year, possible even the decade. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 i a first person shooter available on the most popular games consoles. Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. the game is rated 18 and for good reason. many scenes throughout the campaign mode of the game I personaly found quite distubing. However this would not put me off buying the game. one level in particular is where you pose as a terrorist, and with your gang walk around an Airport shooting civillians. you do however get the choice to skip this level when you load up the game. I would not recomend that you buy this game for your child, or anyone under the 18 year age recommendation. Despite the few distubing levels you cannot deny the incredible graphics and gameplay that Activision have managed to create in the amzing game...

Our worst meal ever in Greece

Advantages: We could leave and buy elsewhere

...when we arrived at the restaurant. We all voted and he phoned the order through. This review is not about the island, just the worst place in Greece we have eaten, or chose not to. We visited what he had said and it was great. Then lunch. The rep showed us to FRAZIS POPI, I would advise all visitors to avoid it like the plague. We had salad, mine was white cabbage, cucumber and vinegar, unpleasant and inedible. To follow, I had ordered, meatballs, another mistake they were cold with cold chips on a cold plate served by an old lady in slippers with no finesse at all shouting out fish, omelet, chicken, pork. You had to put up your hand for what you had ordered. All cold. The chicken was by far the worst thing I have ever seen let alone eaten. The stuff you find lying on the street after at 3-00am on a Sunday morning...

Karystos Relatively Unknown Outside Greece

Advantages: Close to Athens airport and unknown paradise.
Disadvantages: Discos and tourist facilities thin on the ground

...I lived in Karystos for three years and still visit on a regular basis. I got a job there, teaching English, purely on spec. It was one of those accidents that prove you've done something good at some point in the past. I just wish I could remember what! Karystos is a fishing town at the southernmost point of the island of Evvia. Evvia is actually the second biggest island in Greece, after Crete. This fact is relatively unknown, due to its being so close to the mainland. At its closest there is actually a bridge.
