People In Glass Houses...

Advantages: Great storyline, great acting, great suspense
Disadvantages: If anything, maybe centred around the girl a bit too much

...The film stars two children who are orphaned early on in the film, due to a car crash. The film revolves around how the children settle into the household of Mr. & Mrs. Glass who used to be their neighbours when they were growing up. It was their parents wish for the Glass's to look after the children if anything happened. The children are understandably uncomfortable but as the film progresses, there are so many twists and turns that make for a lot of unpredictability...Mr. Begleiter plays the trustworthy lawyer who the children are told they can depend on. I don't want to tell you anything else about the story, should I give too much away. The girl who plays Ruby has never really made it big in a film although she has been in quite a few other roles, the young boy who plays Rhett was also in The Patriot and Jurassic Park III...

...Recently I have been swapping DVDs with my friend ; I've been borrowing her 'up-to-date' movies and she's been watching my 'rom-coms'. One of the DVDs which I borrowed from my friend was a film called ' The House Bunny'. The House Bunny is an American romantic comedy film released in the United Kingdom on 10th October 2008. Easy Tiger!

Advantages: Consistant high quality tracks

...Kids In Glass Houses have become one of my favourite punk bands lately, I'm always on the lookout for new punk bands and artists so I was more than happy to have a listen when a friend leant me this album! I have somewhat of a loathing for mainstream artists who call themseves 'punk' when all they really are is dressed up boy/girl bands who sing (mime) cheesey pop, so I was glad that I hadn't heard of Kids In Glass Houses when I was told about them!I think that this band leans more towards the 'emo' genre rather than punk but there are definitely elements of punk here an there. If you like bands like Death Cab For Cutie, Cute Is What We Aim For or Hawthorne Heights then this album is probably worth checking out because they all share similarities. Psychological thriller

Advantages: A good story
Disadvantages: Not particularly thrilling

...Introduction I picked this up because it was described as a psychological thriller and that's exactly the sort of film I like. I hadn't heard of it, but then I've often seen films that I haven't heard of and enjoyed them. Well, there was a reason I hadn't heard of it. It wasn't a terrible film, but there was nothing completely gripping about it either. It whiled away a couple of hours, but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to get hold of a copy. The story Rich kids Ruby and Rhett are devastated when their parents are suddenly killed in a car accident. Staycation not Vacation? Here's some Escapism!

Advantages: It's the perfect light summer read
Disadvantages: may be a bit too chick lit for some

My only experience of doing so was, briefly, off-season Morecambe which wasn't, sadly, quite as halycon as the world the characters in this book are drawn to. Breaking Glass, the sound of a shattered career

Advantages: Good music and insight into Britain in the early 80's
Disadvantages: Certain scenes are very difficult to watch now

...1980, Punk was dying and 2 Tone was only just getting established in the Midlands. Music was either the New Wave alternative, Glam Rock , Prog Rock or Disco. Advantages: A superb story
Disadvantages: No real dislikes for me

A Wooden Album by Crowded House?

Advantages: 'Woodface' includes some of the most sublime love songs ever written

If you thought that Crowded House really couldn?t be compared to The Beatles, well I hate to disappoint you but they soooo can coz they too let their drummer sing and write his own songs! Paul Hester?s first of two tracks on ?Woodface? is ?Italian Plastic?, a pleasant enough ditty with enough Ringo style lyrics to make you think of the Fab Four. There is something about ?Italian Plastic? which is likeable, but not lovable; I don?t think I?ve ever heard someone wanting to be another?s glass of water which is commendable on the quirky front and I liked the Italian phrasing in-between such as ?Bella Bambina?. ...House is a fantastic series and I missed the first one but got in to watching this in the second series, so I rushed out to buy the first series box set and I could not stop watching it, it is so addictive. If you love medical dramas then this is one for you as it's not all your normal diagnosis, each episode goes through a new medical dilemma they have to try and solve and they are not your usual colds and virus's. House is a medical programme with a diagnosis to be made, so each episode has you playing doctor trying to figure what has caused the patient's medical condition.
