...Last night Behind enemy lines was on Film Four and I thought I?d give it ago, I had never heard of the film before and so did not know what to expect, I always give the info on the TV a read before getting into a new film as unfortunately I am one of the Biased people of the world who find a film more worth trying if it has good actors and a good synopsis. Judging a book by its cover and all that (slap on the wrists). First impressions Before the film had started I had my doubts, the cast of actors includes Owen Wilson, and after seeing more than a fair share of his films, I was doubtful to whether he could pull off what was being described on the TV info as an ?action/thriller? I have never seen him in a serious role and although this gave doubts it also intrigued me into seeing the film and made me want to see if he would fail...

The Green Gem

Advantages: Great movie, wonderful performances, brilliant direction and a terrific script
Disadvantages: The DVD extras are almost none existant

...By most people?s standards, I am quite a little movie buff and will generally watch anything and everything when it comes to the movie world. My favorite genres are most definitely the 'Horror/Sci fi' and 'Action' films and the 'Drama' section is my least favorite, I do prefer films that go crash, bang, wallop to something you have to sit and listen to. It may come as a surprise then, that I am about to give such high acclaim to a drama movie. The Green Mile staring Tom Hanks is an exception to my fast paced standards, the movie has just about everything in the mix to suit almost everybody's tastes. Defining The Great Line

Advantages: Strong drum work throughout, impressive vocal styling.
Disadvantages: You may wear the album out from playing it so often.

...In 2004 the band rose to fame with their 'They're Only Chasing Safety' album which sold more than 350 000 copies. Underoath came back after a 2 year wait with this album 'Define The Great Line' with which the band have a great stab at success in the metalcore genre, a genre they started off in with their first two albums 'Act of Depression' and 'Cries of the Past' before moving onto the melody, scream, repeat formula of the 'They're Only Chasing Safety' release. I feel that this was a wise move for the band as I feel that this is a genre that they do a lot more successfully, and so in returning to their roots as such the band are definitely onto a winner. ...A friend lent me this book this week, I started reading it yesterday afternoon having been off work with a stomach bug and finished it this morning. I had never heard of the author Susan Fletcher and wasn't aware of the novel which had won the 2004 Whitbread First Novel Award and was on the Richard and Judy Summer Read list 2005. However it transported me to the Welsh rugged countryside and helped take my mind of feeling unwell and gave me some inspiration to write another review. The story is told by Eve Green the central character in the novel and she is 29 years old and expecting her first baby. The book describes her memories from when she was 7 years old, that was when she first learnt to fully write her own name "Evangeline Green" and when her mother died. Disadvantages: not as widly available as other lagers.

Most see me as someone purely into heavy metal, my friends as heavy metal and clasic rock, but even my very close friends don't seem to understand how far my taste goes.
