A Caribbean experience in St Vincent

Advantages: Cheap, gorgeous scenery, fantastic beaches, nice locals
Disadvantages: Few resorts, you need to know a local

...St. Vincent and the Grenadines (?SVG?) is located in the Windward Islands at the lower end of the Caribbean chain. SVG is situated between Grenada 75 miles to the south, St. Lucia 24 miles to the north and Barbados 150 miles to the east. SVG has a tropical climate that is influenced by the North East trade winds, resulting in a minimum temperature of around 28 degrees centigrade, and boy does it get hot in the summer months. St Vincent is often referred to as the ?Jewel of the Caribbean? and once you get on the island and do a bit of exploring it is easy to see why. Tourism Tourism obviously brings in money and this is something that the Government are actively trying to grow. Disadvantages: Expensive, not for people who don't like boats

I've glided over stunning tropical reefs in glass bottomed boats more times than I've visited the dentist in the last ten years. Admittedly, this last excursion is usually employed as an excuse to avoid the "colourful and vibrant" local market. Translation: "colourful and vibrant" means noisy, dirty, overcrowded, and full of scheming locals keen to relieve you of your holiday money. Advantages: Nice, light fragrance.
Disadvantages: Pricey

...I only actually got this because the perfume bottle was pretty (haha!) but I found this perfume to be so addictive!! It has top notes of grapefruit and bergamot, heart notes of freesia and grenadine, and base notes of white musk and sandalwood. Its a very fruity fragrance and actually quite light, so when I get carried away and spray loads I don't smell to strong. Even though it's a very light fragrance the smell lingers for a good few hours. Although it is very, very fruity, its also a little floral which makes the scent more feminine. The freesia and grapefruit definitely stand out the most to me. Like I said, the bottle is pretty and I think it's very girly. The bottle is in a tall pink tinted glass bottle. I found that the first time I smelt it I was instantly hooked on the smell and I know that I will treat myself to a full bottle as soon as I have the money to do so!
