...The Medina or "Med" as is plastered on the outside in neon lights is a quaint Morrocan restaurant on the Prince Of Wales Road in Norwich. Every six or so months we have an 'old skool' night in which we try to get good food, good conversation (if you can call good conversation talking about partners, mortgages, work and life - a far cry from our college days - but I suppose we all have to grow up at some point!!) and a few drinks. ...This is a product I've now been using for about 6 years . I frequently mention it in my food reviews, as I cook with it very often, so I was amazed to suddenly realise that I'd never reviewed the product itself . I was given this as a present from my parents shortly after I moved into the house I live in now . I think at the time they were currently quite a new product - I certainly remember having seen them advertised on television before I got one, so was delighted to get this little gadget. As you can see from the product image, the main body of the product is a silver effect, and there is a colourful lide on the bun warmer section - this actually comes in a variety of colours, mine was pink. She spent 5 minutes on the phone trying to tell us what it was and I still didn't understand what she was on about. I was a little apprehensive as I already have a lot of camping gear including a hob type gas cooker so I wasn't sure how much use it would be for me. At the time I know she paid 35 EUROS for it but I have seen them over here in Millets outlets for £29.99 for the hob and about £7 for the gas can. There is another model available but its between 60 and 70 quid so it gets a little to expensive without many benefits. This mesh comes in only one size, 20 centimetres x 120. I've seen these grilles made to look very good, however, I have also seen some very ameteur attempts, reminiscent of "Blue Peter". If you however do want your car to have a "mean" look, or even just something out of the ordinary, give this firm a look. ...This grill is brilliant!!!! It looks smart, it's easy to clean and you can cook almost anything on it. I got my first one bought me as a present and it was one of the smaller ones but after using it almost daily I decided to upgrade. I love the fact you get the 'fat drip' tray so you can see that that the fat is coming out of your food and what you're eating is healthy. These grills heat up really really quickly and are so easy to clean no matter how dirty they get. All I do with mine is once it's cooled, I use a kitchen cleaner spray on it, wipe down with a cloth and then with hot water. Looks like new all the time! You can cook a vast range of foods on them, meat, fish, vegetables etc. Its makes you're sunday morning fry up so much more healthy!
