It's not Grim in Grimsby
Advantages: Nice people (like me),some great clubs & pubs, some great places to visit
Disadvantages: The weather
...for tourists. Thorpe Park provides facilities such as fishing, crazy golf, minmarkets, multisports courts, bowling greens and tennis courts and a outdoor and indoor swimming pool. Prices range from £175 to £521 and have holiday units available as well which can house up to 8 people.
Thorpe park is right next door to Please island and alot of people stay here in the summer.
THE BEACHCOMBER *~*
The Beachcomber provides British tourists with the traditional British holiday experience. Facilities include self catering units, swimming pool, mini market, tennis courts, crazy golf, amusement centre, take away facilities, licensed bar ad cabaret room. Thorpe Park and the Beachcomber provide tourists with similar facilities and they are right next door to each other.
There are hundreds of B&B's in Grimsby but I can't tell you what all of them are...

Tribute to a Golf
Advantages: Great car, good fuel economy, well built - and extremely safe
Disadvantages: No real huge disadvantages
...I've owned my Golf TDI S for almost 5 years now, and I've been really pleased with it. Unfortunately my insurance company have purchased the car back from me following a 7 vehicle pile up (not my fault!). However, I thought I'd put the experience to good use and tell you not only about how great the car is as a drive, but also show how well it can stand up to a battering.
The car looks good. There's no getting away from it: when VW bring out a new shape of the Golf I invariably don't like it, but given a few weeks to get used to it, and it really grows on you. On the outside the car comes in a range of colours (I'd opted for a nice metallic blue on mine), with the mirrors and part of the bumper finished in the same colour. There are no front foglights as standard, but there are fog lights fitted to the rear. There's also...

Wonderfuel Golf
Advantages: Economy with performance
Disadvantages: Limited rear legroom
...VW Golf TDi
Over the years, many enthusiasts have come to regard the Volkswagen Golf as the ultimate in hatchback design – the latest golf is no exception. In its Tdi guise, the Mk IV is able to offer excellent performance that is combined with fantastic economy and emissions that will make the plants smile!
We all know that when you buy Golf, you get a basic car, well engineered and built, but a bit lacking in the extra comforts. Well, not any more. The latest version is packed with creature comforts such as front and rear electric windows, electrically adjustable and heated mirrors, electric sunroof, brilliant radio (the faster you go the louder it gets – its also programmable so that traffic programmes can be stored in memory and played back to help avoid the jams) – and air conditioning. There are also...

VW Golf SE TDI 90bhp
Advantages: Quality and a refined driving experience.
Disadvantages: Not the fastest car on the road by any means.
...It took a while to locate a car with the specification I was looking for, (a Volkswagen Golf TDI SE 5 door hatch 90 bhp - in either silver or green, and within my budget of £10,500), even by using the VW website and doing whole country searches. I had already called in at all of my local dealers (Ipswich, Colchester, Stowmarket, Lowestoft) and was told that they are often sold even before they even appear on the garage forecourt or the VW website.
Hearing this was rather off-putting, but I continued my search and in April 2003 a suitable car appeared on the website at Simpson's Garage, Lowestoft. One phone call and an hour later I was on my way for a viewing and a test drive.
My car is in 'bright green' which was an option at extra cost. (I would describe it more accurately as dark green, rather like the British Racing Green...

For Golf Nuts Everywhere
Advantages: Superbly edited and written. Full of interesting features.
Disadvantages: Blasted throw away adverts.
...~ ~ It?ll come as no big surprise to my regular readers that the mad cabbie is a complete, total and utter golfing nut.
I play the game as often as I possibly can, and when I?m not on the golf course one of my regular hangouts is my local driving range, where I can often be found happily pounding little white balls long into the dark winter nights. (It?s floodlit)
When I?m not actually playing the game, then I?ll often be found either writing about it (here at Ciao and elsewhere) or else reading other people?s views about the sport.
~ ~ There are lots of excellent golf websites on the Web, which are firmly ensconced in my ?favourites? box, and which I read on a regular basis.
But that said, nothing really beats a glossy magazine for a good read. And one of the best golfing mags on the UK and Ireland market is ?Golf World?, which...

Golf 1.9 SDI
Advantages: Good Drive and loads of space
Disadvantages: Few extras
...Having taken a job with a 80 mile journey, and following on from advise from my sister who already had a '97 diesel golf I purchased the 1.9 E sdi Golf. The service from the dealer was good and 15% of list price helped in this deal, with the Volkwagon name. I have already covered 2000 miles in 40 days and the diesel has come into itself with fuel gauge moving very slowly. The golf has very good handling on the motor way and is a pleasure to drive on other roads. The car's shape and headlights make it stand out from the rest in it class. In negative the cost of the is above that in the same class and comes with very few extra as standard, however not being a car person it is not something which is high on my list for car purchase. Most buyer will be like me, not wanting a "boy racer car" just something dependable to get travel...

Footjoy AQL Golf Shoes
Advantages: Look nice,
Disadvantages: Only lasted 5 rounds of golf.
...Purchased a pair of these golf shoes three weeks ago on th 29-Sept-2009.Whn they arrived the looked super and just what I wanted smart wee bit flash and Footjoy. After one round of golf they look like my old ones with the white leather across they front creasing badly.I tried puting leather protector on as footjoy said I should, all this has done no good today after five rounds of golf they are starting to split along the bottom. They are now on there way back to the shop who supplied them.(the shop is superb and it is not there fault). In summary there are plenty of very good golf shoes out there unfortunately The Footjoy AQL does not appear to be the best.I do have three other pairs of footjoy shoes which have served me well so this may be just a one off....

FOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUR!!!!! Everybody for golf?
Advantages: Pick up and play style, highly addictive, fun
Disadvantages: very few, maybe too "cutsie" for some
...It has to be said that Everybody's Golf was the most suprising hit of all the PSP launch titles and in my humble opion it was by far the best. This game has probably been the one that I continally turn back to after the latest game has lost its initial shine (or i just get too stuck on GTA). Gamers of more mature years and gaming experience should not be put off my the cutsie graphics and "childish", almost nintendo style of game as this will appeal to everybody.
tee off from the first
Unsuprisingly this game, at least at its very core, has an awful lot in common with every single (probably) golf game ever made. The course starts with your character stood ready to tee off and. You simply select the correct club, press once to set the power bar and once again as near to the start bar as possible to make a clean connection.
In...

A FINE ADDITION TO THE GOLF RANGE!
Advantages: Equipment, Fuel Economy, Handling
Disadvantages: Lacks the character of previous models.
...The VW Golf - one of the most infamous cars known. Although I must admit not being a huge fan.
I'll start with the image. I originally had a MK II Golf, which personally was my second favourite Golf. My favourite is the MK IV Golf, however I wouldn't say that the MK V was ugly, I just don't think it has the character of some of the previous models.
The inside is good, with clear dials and controls, all very sensibly placed. The materials feel soft, but of a high quality. One thing I was very pleased about is the blue and red dials and backlighting. I think it really sets off the whole interior at night. The seats feel quite firm at first, but on long journey they really are very comfortable and supportive!
The equipment levels are quite good on this model. In addition to all the expected items, such as ABS, multiple...
