Aldi - Home of value for money grocery shopping.

Advantages: Cheap and High Quality Goods
Disadvantages: Queues can be a bit big.

They are not branded goods like in the main chain supermarkets they are their own special branded goods and everything is made exclusively for Aldi. Some of the names are knock offs of brand names such as their Dandruff shampoo which was known as 'Head Strong' a take of Head and Shoulders. How to enjoy the weekly grocery shop.

...I found this game last year in Boots while shopping for christmas presents. We have a lot of younger children, all under 5, to buy for, including our son, so I always try to make the most of the 3 for 2 offers in Boots, especially as they stock Early Learning toys. This way I know I've bought quality gifts for bargain prices and collected advantage points. Perfect! It was whilst trying to find the third 'free' toy that I spotted this game, very easy to spot actually with it's bright yellow box and colourful pictures of a variety of groceries and two smiling people. (Obviously not designed on me when I'm grocery shopping!) There is a blue symbol on the bottom left of the box, telling you it is made by Orchard toys, who I had previously never heard of and it states the age range is for 3-7. why my man loves grocery shopping

...Now, I am aware that many men absolutely hate grocery shopping and my hubby Sam is no different. I have tried everything..... We live just outside a little village about 10 miles from our nearest superstore and our local village shop isn't within walking distance. We both work in the town nearest to the superstores. I used to leave work an hour earlier than usual on Friday evening and walk a few hundred yards to the local Gateway store, do all my shopping and then wait to be picked up by Sam in our car when he'd finished work. Great, ideal, I could shop to my heart's content, buying what I deemed necessary and economical according to my list or my whim, with no hassle or stress for my poor man, no rushing me or adding expensive items we neither needed nor wanted, and all done on our way home from work. Grocery shopping with no fuss

...So I decided to take the plunge and give home shopping a go - my partner is the only driver and away for two weeks so I thought home shopping would be cheaper than a bus there and taxi back. I originally chose tesco's but had real trouble registering and it wouldn't delivery to my home address - kept saying it was business premises??? So I gave up on them and choose sainsburys instead. THE WEBSITE: It was very easy to register and link my nectarcard and debit card, and the whole process of registering took less than 5 minutes. ...Having used Sainsburystoyou now twice I am absolutely thrilled by it all. The quality and freshness of the food delivered cannot be argued with. I did not realise just how stressful shopping round a supermarket had become for me until I used this service. If you want to control your spending eg stick to a budget, this is the best way as you are not tempted by anything else as you "shop". You just get what you want on the list you have made. Admittedly it did take a while the first time but the site did forewarn of this, however once you have made the first and initial shop this is saved and if like me you generally buy the same things each week eg fresh fruit & veg etc then these are saved each week and you just add them to the next weeks shopping.
