...I was lucky enough to receive this fine DAB radio for Christmas. It was so simple to set up and within minutes i was listening to clear interference free music. With a wide range of radio stations available i was able to listen to jazz one minute and the latest chart music the next. You can preset up to 10 of your favourite DAB stations which saves a lot of time! The Grundig Opus is also a neat looking radio which would not look out of place in any room in the house. Later i listened using headphones and the sound was near cd quality with absolutely no interference. All in all the Grundig Opus is great value for anyone looking for a digital radio for under £60 for everyday use in the family home.... Read review

Advantages: Great Station Choice, clear sound quality
Disadvantages: only works in 85% of the UK where DAB is available

...and easier access to all your favourite radio stations. The only major disadvantage to this radio is that it does not have an FM tuner, which means that you are limited to only being able to hear the digital radio stations. But with great quality sound, who needs FM?... Read review

Advantages: Easy to use, Fantastic and Free
Disadvantages: Slow and Freezes sometimes

...Almost everyone has had some contact with digital television, whether it be directly or indirectly through the likes of Sky, NTL, Telewest or the late ITV Digital. However, FREEVIEW is the latest development for the market, and seems to be quite a good deal. I recently went into Currys and bought the Grundig GDT 1500 model digital receiver - I bought it for the kitchen, as we already have Sky in the lounge and I am really pleased with it. The reveiver is silver, comes with a remote control, but no scart lead (which you need). I paid £79.99 for the reveiver itself, and £9.99 for a clever 'digital eye' to go with it (This means that you can hide the receiver behind the TV, and just have the 'digital eye' showing, in order for the remote control to operate the receiver. Disadvantages: No interactive services or onrequest films

...We purchased our digital TV after seeing an advert in the national papers. £299.00 for a 28" digital tv. with all the primary channels for just £1.00 per month subsciption, sounds to good to be true. So where is the catch? Thats what we thought, so, off we went to Currys to be told there is no catch, The tv. is comparable to the more expensive Grundig version. Fantastic! we thought and purchased one. Now it has been in use for 3 months we find we can not join in with any interactive programmes or games. Ondigital wrote to us offering an "onrequest film" for an offer price, fantastic we thought, phoned them up to book our slot, got all prepared for the big moment, tuned into the correct channel at the allotted time and.....nothing! it turns out Matsui don't have the technology at present for their sets to be interactive and won't have...
