Advantages: Loads of cars, loads of dealers, loads of tracks Disadvantages: Repetitive, Takes a while to load
...This game was truely awsome for its time. AS a follow up of GT2 and GT1, which were both ok at the time they came out, it was 10 times better than either one. The reason was partially as GT3 was the first GT for the PS2 and the graphics were better than ANY PS1 game out.
The game consisted of racing 4+ other racers around a track for a set amount of laps. AT the end of the race, you won either Bronze, Silver or Gold. To get the best, you had to get Gold on everything which was really hard. You raced around a track and if you hit the back of another car, it could sometimes take a while to get the speed back up to take the lead once again.
The game had a lot of different car makers and dealerships. It ranged from the top makers, Chevy, Ford, Jaguar, Aston Martin to the not so fast, Diahtsu and other makers in that class. The races...
Advantages: Endless gameplay, a classic Disadvantages: You will never complete it!
...As I can hardly contain my excitement (no really i can't I've had to install a piss bag! Sorry!) waiting for GT4 I thought I'd write a review for the best driving game ever (NB: change at Xmas for GT4). And at the end of this month my beloved GT3 will be 3 years old. So Yey!
Anyway for those that don't know GT3 is the outstanding driving simulation game from Polyphony, which follows on from GT and GT2 originally on Playstation original. It was released July 31st 2001 (2years late but nevermind) and is the biggest selling driving game ever, and definately one of the biggest selling games of all time.
The game is split into two modes Arcade and Career/simulation. The first mode is your standard racing game you start with a small selection of cars to choose from split into several classes so that you will be driving against a similar...
Advantages: Graphics, size, fun. Disadvantages: # of cars
...Gran Turismo 3:A Spec(was GT2000), has finally arrived after being delayed like its predecessors due to its creator's search for perfection. In GT1 they took three years to master the physics of our everyday cars to the latest sportcars, GT2 was just as entertaining but not as engrossing as it was basically just bigger, it had the same modes but boasted four times as many cars this time, nearly 600!.
GT3 enters the ring, this time on the PS2.The first thing you'll notice is those graphics, never before have you seen such beautiful shots, simply jaw dropping.Although ofcourse this is the main attraction and what scee wanted, something to showcase the PS2, something to sell it and it seems to be working with PS2 sales up 150%!.
Unfornatunately GT3 doesn't really offer anything, it has improved visuals some more tracks and less cars...
...'s not that I have something against horsepower, it's just that variety is better and having those choices to make lets me feel more involved in the game, instead of just saying, "I want a Mustang... well, looks like I'm getting the Cobra." Also, part of the appeal is that in GT2 I had a fully loaded GS-T in my garage. If you go outside my house in real life, I have one in my garage too. That was one of the coolest things about the game, and it's why a Sport Compact Club called Total Traction offically dubbed Sundays GT day. Taking a car you have in real life and rebuilding it in the game is fantastic. I can't drive my Eclipse 140mph down my street, but I sure could in the game. GT3 lost a lot of that because the low-end models of cars that kids might actually own have been omitted (except for the Civic... gotta love all those Civic drivers...
Advantages: Original idea, fun for a while Disadvantages: The graphics, and repetitiveness ruin this original idea
...The game that leaves GT3 standing. My arse.
The more you think about that line while playing this awful game the more you realize, no, no this is a where near the heady heights of any Gran Turismo. There are multiple things wrong with this racer, which I will point out later on.
Gameplay: 5/10
A good idea put together badly
The first time you slip this disk into your drive you are asked what Hz you want to play the game on. I have played with both and it does not matter which one you put it on the graphics are still crap. Basically the idea of racing against three other racers against the tide of traffic is a good one. Except the way that this game is pulled off makes it seem wasted efforts. First picking your car is annoying. It does not matter if you are a beginner; choose the fastest car as it is the only way you will...

Review of Burnout (PS2)
Advantages: Realistic, Lots of cars, tracks and plenty of variation. Disadvantages: only available on US format
...have come across in my gaming so far (GT3 on Playstation 2 has nothing on this in my humble opinion) Not only do you race but there is a storyline behind the racing, something that no other racing game has. It is a completely realistic game unlike GT3. There is actual damage to your car when you wreck in this game and in GT3 you could hit cars all day and never get a scratch on your car.
Pro Race Driver is also very challenging it will take a while to get used to some of the road courses but once you learn the tracks and the physics of the car the game becomes a total blast to play. Pro Race Driver offers wall to wall racing from the very beginning to the very end, something most racing games can't say.
And one last thing that makes Pro Race Driver better than all the other racing games out there is all the cars are real and so are...
..., which ever you prefer.
There is the option of playing with up to three of your mates. Provided you have forked out for the £30 multi-tap. Playing with mates could further improve this excellent title.
Having played this I would have to say it is simply the best racing game around on any console. Even better than Gran Turismo 3.
I?d give Rumble Racing 8/10....
Advantages: Graphics, Cars, Sounds, Sound tracks, Racing tracks. Disadvantages: The Price, Some tracks area really annoying and boring.
...of the cars and tracks is just amazing. All the cars look superb and extremelly lifelike. You can update just about everything on the car from the colour of it the car to the tires on the car to the engine in the car. And all this in great detail. The sound affects are very good and realistic, but one very annoying thing is you cant affect the volume of the sound tracks. The music played on the screens before the actuall races is very annoying. Once in the race the music is cool but a little to quite and almost unhearable when your in a loud car.
Seing i havent played eather of the other two GT games i cant really rate it against them but i would have thought and what people have told me it is alot better than GT and GT2. So if u like one of the first two you should deffinetly buy this game for the bit expencive price of 40 quid.
I do...
Advantages: With many cars, many tracks all with first class graphics the game has lots to offer and is difficult to get board of. Disadvantages: the licences take up alot of time and can drive you around the bend.
Advantages: Exciting, Fast, Good Graphics Disadvantages: None

The game in a nutshell is a highly intense, fast, exciting, realistic racing simulator exclusive to the Xbox 360. With the most up to date graphics and in game physics, this release is sure to be a big hit.
