Fathers Guest House, great place in the Cameron Highlands

Advantages: Location, views, surroundings
Disadvantages: Disappointing dorm room

...Fathers Guest house has the perfect location on a small hill overlooking the tiny town of Tanah Rata in the Cameron highlands. Situated outside the town, but only a 3 minute walk into it, it has fantastic views and is tranquil but still has access to any activities the town has to offer. If you call the owners in advance letting them known when you will arrive then they will collect you from the town and save the walk up the hill with heavy bags. They also tend to be one of the touts who wander the bus drop off area and so if you arrive by bus then there is almost always someone there who you can ask to get a lift up the hill. Driving up towards the guesthouse the first thing that is obvious is that this is a beautiful area. The views from the top go right across the town and amongst the rolling hills of the area. ...This is a list of my 10 worst dinner guests and why. Oh and by the way, I know that technically there are more than ten, but tough!!!! So in no particular order??? 1. David and Victoria Beckham. Am I the only one who doesn?t get it when it comes to these two? She?s a really bad singer who loves herself a bit too much, and will bitch about anyone in spitting distance, and he is an overrated footballer, who for some unknown reason women find attractive. WHY? He?s minging (for want of a better word), and he dresses like a girl, and don?t get me started on his hair. 2. Jodie Marsh Every time you open the paper there she is falling out of some club or bitching about Jordan. South Hampton Guest House - ok

Advantages: Reasonably Priced
Disadvantages: Very Small Rooms

...My partner and I stayed at the South Hampton Guest House for a weekend in early 2006. We choose the property because it was reasonably close to the centre of Cambridge Township (about 15-20 minutes walk) and also for it's price. We paid £45/night for the two of us including breakfast. The general décor was nothing to marvel about, a bit pokey and very old fashioned. However, keeping in mind what we paid our stay was reasonable. The rooms (I think there were 4 or 5 in total) were on the small side. Ours was fitted with a double bed, a single chair, one bedside table, a small wardrobe with several drawers attached and a tv mounted on the wall. There was a little side tray containing tea, coffee milk and a few biscuits. There was very little room for much else and we had to store our 1 suitcase on top of the wardrobe. There was...

Beautiful Guest House - recommended

...The Anchor Guest House is situated in the city centre. From Dublin Airport, travel on the 747 (Easily caught from outside the airport exit, well signposted and regular) Stay on the bus until Dublin Bus Station, the Anchor Guest House is situated in Lower Gardiner Street which is just round the corner from the bus station. The Guest House is a town house with a new extension on the back. There are a few steps to go up and I have not seen a ramp. From the entrance hall, up about 10 stairs you walk through a sitting room to the extension which has a lift. The rooms are all well presented, clean and tidy with Television and en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. A tea tray will be put in the room for an extra small payment and will be filled up everyday. We have only stayed in twin rooms, but they will let them to...

The 7th Guest - spooky but fun

...The 7th Guest is an excellent adventure/horror/puzzle game for the PC. It is set in an old creepy mansion belonging to a deceased deranged toymaker. Gameplay involves working your way around the mansion, discovering rooms, clues and solving fiendish mind puzzles in order to eventually discover the secret of the old house. The navigation graphics are a bit juddery but the content and detail of the game is quite impressive. There are also a certain number of chances to have puzzles solved for you if you get completely stuck and can't continue any further. A Room with a Loo

Advantages: Close to the town, good cooked breakfast, all ensuite, comforable beds and ample tea/coffee
Disadvantages: noise levels at times at the front of the hotel only.

So we chose to visit Stratford upon Avon, I searched the internet and looked at some hotels, but they were a little more than we wished to spend for this outing, so we opted to for a more reasonably priced alternative and started looking at Guest Houses and B & B establishments. I tried late deals but nothing appealed and to me it didn?t seem that much cheaper; I then came across Emsley Guest House and thought it looked lovely on the photos; I also liked the fact it had its own website and a phone number supplied so I could ask questions as I do have some needs that will have to be considered when it comes to my mobility.
