Now the guests are unaware that 5 people escaped in the 1930,s and the people that are at the party are direct relatives to the ones that did get away, the house comes alive for the revenge on all the patients and staff who died in a fire at the house in the 30,s. ...I have stayed at the Kensington Guest House twice now, once for business and once as a tourist. Both times I have had a very comfortable stay and been well looked after by the hosts Bill and Bea. Where is it? The Kensington Guest House is situated on the main road through Holland Park. It is one of those places which is walking distance from town, but at the end of the day feel like you got away from all the traffic and millions of people in the center. Getting there… I traveled down the country on the train ending up at Euston. By purchasing a sub-way ticket I was at the Holland Park tube station in about 20 minutes. The Kensington Guest House being two doors down from the station! There is also a bus stop outside the Guest House where you can catch the normal London Red Buss into town, or be dropped of by the National Express coaches... Read review

...We had tried to book one of the posh hotels in Bath but alas all were full or so prohibitively expensive that we couldnt afford them, so we opted for a guest house instead. However, Paradise House is no ordinary Guest house as we soon discovered. We booked through laterooms.com whom we have often used and found very good in general and were looking forward ot a lovely relaxation trip to Bath and all its wonders. We were not to be disappointed. We found finding the hotel a little tricky as it is not well sign posted, however on arrival we knew we were onto a winner. The place is spottless with lots of those little personal details that make the difference. Our room was large and spacious without being intimidatiing with a large window overlooking the surrounding Bath countryside. There were a few posters on the walls which we didnt... Read review

...The Atlantic View Guest House is a large bed and breakfast run by a local family. they are the longest runing bed and breakfast in the area of doolin and most people who regularly visit ireland will come back to this house. I flicked threw the Guest book to find that every comment was "excellent room" "superb Breakfast" etc. the view from the rooms facing the sea will show the cliffs of moher one of irelands most spectacular sites. the rooms are all large with lovely beds and furniture, the showers are powerful and the bathrooms are nice. breakfast has a nice choice of traditional foods and the chef/man of the house will be happy to make any special requests if they are informed the night before. the family will do everything to make you comfortable in your stay. the House is located aprox 6miles from the tourist entrance... ...The 7th Guest is an excellent adventure/horror/puzzle game for the PC. It is set in an old creepy mansion belonging to a deceased deranged toymaker. Gameplay involves working your way around the mansion, discovering rooms, clues and solving fiendish mind puzzles in order to eventually discover the secret of the old house. The navigation graphics are a bit juddery but the content and detail of the game is quite impressive. There are also a certain number of chances to have puzzles solved for you if you get completely stuck and can't continue any further. Advantages: Quiet, peaceful and in very safe surroundings

...This four star Guest House is situated in the picturesque town of Graaf Reinet in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Its easy to find and there are tourist information sign posts to ensure you find it without any problems. It was originally a manor house now turned guest house. A word of warning though if you are particularly worried about dogs the owners do have two particularly boisterous terriers who yap constantly to signal your arrival. The hotel isn't particularly child friendly either but ideal for those who want a more sedate and peaceful existence. When we arrived we were met by one of the members of staff who dealt with checking us in, in a courteous and efficient manner and showed us to our veranda room called the Rietekamer, the oldest room in the guest house. ...My partner and I stayed at the South Hampton Guest House for a weekend in early 2006. We choose the property because it was reasonably close to the centre of Cambridge Township (about 15-20 minutes walk) and also for it's price. We paid £45/night for the two of us including breakfast. The general décor was nothing to marvel about, a bit pokey and very old fashioned. However, keeping in mind what we paid our stay was reasonable. The rooms (I think there were 4 or 5 in total) were on the small side. Ours was fitted with a double bed, a single chair, one bedside table, a small wardrobe with several drawers attached and a tv mounted on the wall. There was a little side tray containing tea, coffee milk and a few biscuits. There was very little room for much else and we had to store our 1 suitcase on top of the wardrobe... Read review

...I watch the Big Breakfast most mornings, well its on in the background while I get ready for work. It's a lighthearted programme and not too much of the "Bad news" going on in the world to depres you. Theres enough of that on other channels and in the newspapers! Johnny Vaughn is very quick to make funny comments about all kinds of things. Liza Tarbuck is also very good, but not for long as she leaves today. The programme is set in a Big house, and with the crew all on view, it gives the impression that they are a big family all in the house. They have a lot of wacky guests, who most of I am sure are just invited to be laughed at, but thats what makes it different. Its quite fast moving, not stopping too long on each subject, or guest. All in all I think its a young programme, and a good way to start the day.... Read review

...Guest House Paradiso is a cinema extension of Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson’s Bottom. It’s how bottom wanted to be on the small screen but couldn’t because of censorship. This film is lewd, crude and puerile. It’s also very funny, if you like Bottom. If you don’t, then Guest House Paradiso is probably not for you. The film is set in a dilapidated old guest house which is situated on the edge of a cliff, right next to a nuclear power plant. For very obvious reasons, the guest house does not attract very many guests, but those that do arrive, wish they had never done so. Rik Mayall – Richard Twat (pronounced Thwaite) Richie (whose surname has been changed from Richard to Twat), desperately wants his guest house to be a success. ...This guest house is located about 25 to 30 min. far from city center (by taxi) but its location has some advantages. Not far you may find the Old Art Museum and district of Lapa - one of the most elegant districts in town. 10 min walking you can also find The Docks, recentely rebuilded zone on river bord, plenty of restaurants, bars, coffee houses and other eat/drink locations. York House is a small romantic place, with garden and nice views over the town and river. Its decoration is discret but elegant - old fashion - with a very special atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and some have very nice views. The food is delicious - even famous in certain gastronomic circles - and the service also good. This hotel is ideal for medium/long stays (more than a week) and depending on your preferences can also give you a familiar ambiance.... Read review
