Advantages: Some tips I hadn't heard before
Disadvantages: Repitition in chapters, overpriced, information could be obtained for free elsewhere.

...I just finished reading this book last night so I thought it would be good to review it. Firstly, let me start by stating that the book retails at £7.99, although I got mine from ipoints by cashing in. Firstly, I feel that £7.99 is a bit pricey for this book, mostly because it is less then 200 pages long. The book basically describes easy ways to 'live green' designed for the lazy girl. By lazy girl I took this to mean someone who isn't going to be buying land and planting trees everytime they drive a car, which I think is correct as this is basically a book which details ways to live green without really having to change your life much. I was slightly dissapointed because most of the tips and tricks contained in the book were ones that I was aware of anyway. For example don't leave appliances on standby, walk don't drive etc. There...

The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy.

Advantages: It's quite funny, looks nice, some good cast choices.
Disadvantages: A lot of it it isn't funny, some the cast border on useless.

...It would be easy for me to start a review of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy with the words "Don't panic". This would of course be a cheap gag, which is why I won't be doing any such thing. I'll also assure you now that I will not end this review with a comment like "so long and thanks for all the fish". This kind of comment would seem out of place in a film review. The wonderful thing about the writing of Douglas Adams is that he can take ridiculously absurd concepts and make them seem acceptable. It's a shame then that he didn't have all that much to do with this film version. Sure, he is credited as co-writer, and I know he wrote several versions of a screenplay before his death, but what we are left with here is something much less rounded and just too random for it's own good. ...I can't remember how I first picked up this book; I think it was when I was bored at work in a shop that sold books among other things. Having read parts of it at work, I was so intrigued that I bought it there and then and finished reading it at home. The first word that comes to mind when describing this book is "enchanting", especially with the images of the fireflies scattered throughout. The book is an amazing insight into the mind of a girl who isn't as socially inept and awkward as Bridget Jones or as honed and alien as the Manhattan Call Girl. I find the protagonist a problem in many chick-lit novels; for the most part, they are either portrayed as a loser or Miss Perfect, and Girls Guide's Jane isn't like that. She is perfectly normal. Advantages: Some very funny parts, nice cast

Casting is often one point where other reviews claim the movie falls down, but I like the casting. Sam Rockwell is great as bumbling idiot Zaphod and Zooey Deschanel makes a good Trillian. Midlife (A beginners Guide to Blur)

Advantages: has alot of their well known songs, and some great lesser known ones
Disadvantages: they have left off quitea few of their singles

...A compilation spanning all seven studio albums, an album which has alot of their famous singles e.g. parklife, song 2, beetlebum, and has the non album single popscene, plus alot of classic album tracks that the casual listener might have not heard. This double album has 25 songs and covers all of their sound from the early days of the leasure with shes so high the brit pop years with girls & boys, for tomorrow, advert and the universal, and also their final albums with trimm trabb and out of time. In my personal opinion it is a very good album with exelent music showing blurs different styles over the years butjust as they did on their 2000 compilation the best of they have left out a few of their famous and i dare say most loved singles on this album such as country house, theres no other way M.O.R. and to the end to name a few...
