My little bundle of joy arrived through my letter box yesterday morning (the day after the release date) delivered from HMV.com with free delivery, totalling £26.99 (with student discount). In the box, you get the add-on part with the coloured buttons that you insert into the GameBoy Advance slot on your DS, a seperate attachement that you have to use if you are using an old style DS, a plectrum stylus, the game catridge, a game case, two sticker sheets and the instructions - though don't ask me what they say, I figured I would work everything out along the way. Rock out with Guitar Hero III, wirelessly.

Advantages: Enjoyable, Easy to learn, Play on multiple levels, hours of play time.
Disadvantages: That you must complete a certain level to acess some songs.

Then when my house bought a Wii I just new that I had to get Guitar Hero and I was even luckier because HMV was selling it for £35 compared to the original and expensive £70. I have also seen it in CEX (The second hand electronic store), but it was expensive there as well at £60. For my £35 pounds I got: 1x Wireless Guitar, 1X Wii Game Disc (Legends of rock), 1X sheet of stickers to personalise the guitar. "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock" is a sequeal in the Guitar Hero (GH) series. Others include GH Metallica, GH ... The game disc is compatible with Guitar Hero Wii Guitars and so could be purchased separatly as just an addition to your GH collection. The best place to buy the game...

Watch out Rock Band, Guitar Hero is back.

Advantages: Gameplay now on a par with the Rock Band series. Excellent feature set on the Wii.
Disadvantages: Very expensive if you've not already got the instruments. Some songs are a bit obscure.

... Introduction The original Guitar Hero was one of the landmarks in the rhythm game genre; it moved away from merely tapping out a beat to giving you a controller that resembled a real guitar. Sure, it's nothing like playing a real guitar, but then again most people can't just pick one up and sound just like Hendix or Clapton. It was a perfect bit of escapism with devilishly addictive gameplay, and it worked. This was consolidated with a few sequels but then along game Rock Band which pretty much dethroned the original Guitar Hero with a seamless expansion of the gameplay to including singing and drums. Guitar Hero 3

Advantages: Ok game if you havent play the two other Guitar Hero Games
Disadvantages: The game has become more commercialised

...Guitar Hero 3 is a decent game with new play modes and the new guitar hero battles added in the career play mode, however I think that this game isnt as good as Guitar Hero 1 and 2 as it seems to have sold out and changed up a few things to make it a more popular game. Guitar Hero 3 is easier to play in my opinion, especially hammer ons and pull offs are easier and game play on expert even seems slower to me. The games songs style has changed, there is no longer a long list of lethal rock and metal songs, the song list in this game is more commercialised so as to suit a larger range of people, which may be good for business but I dont think has inproved the game. review of Epiphone Hummingbird Acoustic Guitar

Advantages: very playable

...The Epipiphone Hummingbird is my first Acoustic guitar i have not stolen off my dad. £300 is not a bad deal, seeing as the Gibson acoustics are all around £3000. The looks and finish of this guitar are very nice, i enjoy graphics on my guitar as long as they arent too loud, and this 'mockingbird' illustration is just plain pleasent. The shape of the guitar is perfect so that it can sit on your lap for hours and not ache, partly due to its incredibly light weight. The playability is pretty much perfect, the best you can get for a £300 acoustic, and times I thought I was playing an electric, the fretboard was just so slim, the strings were at perfect distance from the fretboard. The sound is not as good as the playability I must admit, probably because of the lightweight body, it is not hard enough to sustain the notes for a very long...
