A look into Guitar Hero III : Legend of rock (wii)

Advantages: You get a guitar, so it feels like you are actually playing.
Disadvantages: The music doesnt suit everyone.

Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock!?

Advantages: Online play and easier pull offs and hammer ons.
Disadvantages: Track list is hardly "Rock" few songs are likable. Guitar Hero 2 is better

...First on the Xbox 360 was guitar hero 2, such a great game. For some reason Neversoft got hold of the rights and, in a way, have turned guitar hero 3 into a failure. Guitar Hero 3 Legends Of Rock

Advantages: Verry awarding
Disadvantages: well i cant think of any really i enjoyed the game

...Well i started playing guitar hero 2 which was amazing and i would recommend playing that first before moving on to guitar hero 3 legends of rock. When i herd about it coming out i was over the moon, i bought the game it was excellent i could play songs like cliffs of Dover, through the fire and flames wrote by the famous dragon force. The career mode is excellent there's cool cinematics in between playing each sets, each set gets harder and harder starting from set one which includes the song hit me with your best shot, and the last set includes Cliffs Of Dover. while going through the career you do intense battles against Slash, Tom Morello and play a battle to the song devil went down to Georgia. there are also good online content on xbox live. there can be found extra bonus song packs and also just songs on there own some cost...

Rock out with Guitar Hero III, wirelessly.

Advantages: Enjoyable, Easy to learn, Play on multiple levels, hours of play time.
Disadvantages: That you must complete a certain level to acess some songs.

...Years ago my friend, Henri, introduced me to Guitar Hero and I was hooked. Unfortunatally I only had a PC so I had just admire Guitar Hero from afar. Then when my house bought a Wii I just new that I had to get Guitar Hero and I was even luckier because HMV was selling it for £35 compared to the original and expensive £70. I have also seen it in CEX (The second hand electronic store), but it was expensive there as well at £60. For my £35 pounds I got: 1x Wireless Guitar, 1X Wii Game Disc (Legends of rock), 1X sheet of stickers to personalise the guitar. "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock" is a sequeal in the Guitar Hero (GH) series. Others include GH Metallica, GH ... The game disc is compatible with Guitar Hero Wii Guitars and so could be purchased separatly as just an addition to your GH collection. The best place to buy the game...

Advantages: Fantastic gameplay, lots of different levels of difficulty.
Disadvantages: None.

...This game is available as part of 2 bundles. The disc alone & the disc with a guitar (either wired or wireless). I purchased the disc & guitar version for my Fiancé, Tom, for around £45.00 in a pre-owned condition but by shopping around it's possible to find a new guitar & disc for this price now. The game has many songs on it (which I will list later) and comes with stickers for decorating your guitar or whatever you like. The aim of the game is to become a guitar hero and play along in one of the four difficulty modes (Easy, Medium, Hard & Expert!). You have five notes on the guitar, yellow, green, blue, red & orange which you use to play in time with the music. You have to press the notes and strum the strum bar to hit the right note. ...When i heard guitar hero 3 was coming out i pre-ordered it as soon as i could. Previous guitar hero games ahve been really good and i couldnt wait to see how they would make it for the wii. Needless to say they did not dissapoint. THE GUITAR CONTROLLER Wow! It looks really good for a start. Plus you get the extra stickers to customise yours with, personally i think it looks best blank. But if your not into stickers or leaving ti plain you can buy faceplates seperately though their a little expensive. The shape of the controller is great, i think its fits an all round audience. Obviously it has the five buttons (green,red,yellow,blue,orange) on the neck., these activate the notes. Even these have a nice shape ( not just square). Advantages: Ok game if you havent play the two other Guitar Hero Games
Disadvantages: The game has become more commercialised

...Guitar Hero 3 is a decent game with new play modes and the new guitar hero battles added in the career play mode, however I think that this game isnt as good as Guitar Hero 1 and 2 as it seems to have sold out and changed up a few things to make it a more popular game. Guitar Hero 3 is easier to play in my opinion, especially hammer ons and pull offs are easier and game play on expert even seems slower to me. The games songs style has changed, there is no longer a long list of lethal rock and metal songs, the song list in this game is more commercialised so as to suit a larger range of people, which may be good for business but I dont think has inproved the game. Become a Guitar Hero (Wii)

Advantages: Great fun, challenging, good songs
Disadvantages: Absolutely none

...This game is brilliant, whether or not you play an instrument, this game will still be a challenge, the wii guitar means you feel as if you are really playing a proper guitar and there are no annoying cables to get in the way. The aim of the game is to pass songs so that you can progress through to more difficult ones and earn money to buy cool new guitars and outfits for your character. Play along to awesome songs such as Cliffs of Dover and One by Metallica, when you get the hang of the game you will be able to move on from easy, which only uses the green, red and yellow, to medium which also brings in the blue key and hard and expert which are really tough and use all colours and have the notes coming at you at a extreme speed, use star power which builds up if you play well, to double, triple or even quadruple the points you get. ...I love guitar hero, im addicted to it. I was slighlty let down by guitar hero 2...but I have to say they certainly made up for it in Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock! So whats better? The songs, there is a great variety, some more classics that we totally forgot about in the other 2 games and some other entertaining ones (try doing dragonforce and say its easy!). The fact that the songs are actually performed by the actual bands, because lets face it there were some pretty apalling covers on the first and second games! I love the fact that you can battle the likes of Tom Morello (RATM) and Slash. I have to warn you however that the childfriendly lyrics have dissapeared and songs are now as they should be, so if you have small children playing this games you might want to shield their ears on some songs.
