My second visit to a Group H10

Advantages: Good Location, only two years old
Disadvantages: Not many English in hotel

...Well I am sure many of you have read my previous op on the H10 Med Village I stayed in in Salou. This was my second experience of staying in another Group H10 Hotel. We visited La Nina in Costa Adeje just two weeks ago so everything about this hotel is fresh in mind. On arrival to the hotel I thought it was a bit odd. Stuck in the middle of the main street with shops practically attached to the hotel and underneath it on a lower floor. Going into the reception area you just couldn't help but be amazed though. This looked like a classy hotel. Marble everywhere, a large reception desk on the right hand side, a large seating area and a massive winding stair case going down to the lower floor. Going in to the reception/entrance to the hotel you are going straight in on floor four. There are a total of 10 floors in this hotel...

Stay in Style with H10

Advantages: Out of the way, lovely new hotel
Disadvantages: In Cap Salou

...I just HAD to write here on Ciao about this fantastic place I stayed at in the beginning of May this year. Have you ever heard of the Group H10 hotels? I had never heard of them myself. I certainly didn't think it was one of those common hotel chains like 'Sol'. We booked our holiday in a bit of a rush through an ad in the Sun Newspaper. It was all done over the phone and were given a good description of the choices of hotels which we could have stayed. Luckily I picked the med village. Only after this I looked into the place further (even though you should do that before you book shouldn't you?! like I say we were in a hurry before the offer sold out) I got the airtours broucher and the hotel itself looked very nice from the pictures but then they always look nice in the photos don't they? Advantages: Located next to beach
Disadvantages: None that I could see

...This is a lovely hotel. One of many on this Island. I wanted to let you know what I thought about it. I am in the Travel Industry so can be quite critical. Well here goes - ***********LOCATION*********** The hotel is only 15 Km from Tenerife Sur Airport making the transfer quite short. This was great after a 4 hour flight !!! This hotel is on Playa de las Américas beach, right next to the sea and there is direct access to the ocean promenade. I loved the way it is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Samsung NC10 Review

Advantages: Good battery life, nice screen, near enough a full size keyboard
Disadvantages: small-ish trackpad

...I recieved this netbook for christmas and all i can say is 'wow'! My background with computers is vast having built many and installed multiple operating systems on each, however i have never owned a laptop. Therefore i was a little dubious about some of the things such as keyboard size, processing power and battery life. I was looking for a laptop which is very small in physical size while packing a punch so it could still carry out multiple tasks. Buying a full size (15.4") laptop seemed a bit pointlesss as i have two tower pc's which are my main machines, so this was just to be about casual surfing/ reading emails/ browsing while on the move. Samsung NC10 Netbook

Advantages: Lots of connectivity - Big keyboard - excellent screen - Good spec
Disadvantages: bad sleeve to store netbook - battery life not that long - small touchpad

...I managed to pick up this netbook for £299 which is oustanding value - from play.com. The netbook is very light and can fit almost anywhere - it is very easy to carry around - you can set up anywhere and very easily connect to the internet where available. The netbook looks very stylish and everything is laid out well. The keyboard is the biggest i have ever seen on a netbook - its almost full size which is a bonus as I have a lot of typing to do. One disadvantage of this is that the mousepad has been made very small which is a nuisance - you do get used to it but it is not ideal. The specs for this netbook are impressive I mean a massive 160GB hard drive, a 10.2 inch screen. 1 GB of RAM and a 1.6GHZ intel atom processor. Disadvantages: no zoom during video recording, small preview button, bulky

...A first glance at this camera makes you wonder - is this a digicam or an SLR ..?? Let me help you - this camera allows you to take SLR quality snaps without even knowin what an SLR camera is...!!! With an 8.1 megapixel carl zeiss lens, 10x optical zoom and a really large - 3.5 inch screen, this camera makes me question myself - what more do you want in a digicam..? Though it takes a little time to master, its manual mode allows you to shoot snaps to your own taste and liking. Advantages: Located close to theme park

Advantages: Sound quality, Design, Colour screen
Disadvantages: Quite big and bulky, Menu quite stiff when using, No way of searching for tracks, found many of the features unneccesary

...I decided to opt for a H10 after a dismall experience with my Creative Zen Micro. I was very impressed by the design and the colour screen that is probably the only good thing I can think of about this product. I was constantly irritated by the way in which you were unable to search tracks which meant that you had to go thorugh the contents of the player track by track in order to find the track you were looking for so if you were listening to a track starting with a and the you wanted to jump to a track starting with j then instead of being able to jump straight to the tracks starting with j you would have to go thorugh all the tracks a through j individually The software was awful to every time I loaded it on my PC it had a tendancy to make my machine crash and if it did load i would have to wait ages for it to see all...

Samsung NC10 Black netbook a lightweight and excellent netbook

Advantages: Great screen, excellent battery life,
Disadvantages: Poor speakers, personal headphones or additional speakers definitely help

...I bought my NC10 to replace my laptop which was just too heavy to be carrying to and from work everyday. I purchased my NC10 on a promotion weekend from a high street store beating online prices significantly. I was trying to avoid big bulky items to carry as I was on crutches at the time. Not recommended but straight out of box into my rucksack in the shop from which it was purchased. Didn't notice much weight difference in my bag at all. The Samsung NC10 has served me dilligently now being used more and more instead of my normal laptop as battery life is excellent. I use the NC10 round the house for coursework, work and even during my work lunch. The screen is bright and very easy to read, I primarily use the NC10 at home for surfing the net to shop and for music in the background. I have an extensive playlist on Spotify...
