My second visit to a Group H10

Advantages: Good Location, only two years old
Disadvantages: Not many English in hotel

...Well I am sure many of you have read my previous op on the H10 Med Village I stayed in in Salou. This was my second experience of staying in another Group H10 Hotel. We visited La Nina in Costa Adeje just two weeks ago so everything about this hotel is fresh in mind. On arrival to the hotel I thought it was a bit odd. Stuck in the middle of the main street with shops practically attached to the hotel and underneath it on a lower floor. Going into the reception area you just couldn't help but be amazed though. This looked like a classy hotel. Marble everywhere, a large reception desk on the right hand side, a large seating area and a massive winding stair case going down to the lower floor. Going in to the reception/entrance to the hotel you are going straight in on floor four. There are a total of 10 floors in this hotel...

Stay in Style with H10

Advantages: Out of the way, lovely new hotel
Disadvantages: In Cap Salou

...I just HAD to write here on Ciao about this fantastic place I stayed at in the beginning of May this year. Have you ever heard of the Group H10 hotels? I had never heard of them myself. I certainly didn't think it was one of those common hotel chains like 'Sol'. We booked our holiday in a bit of a rush through an ad in the Sun Newspaper. It was all done over the phone and were given a good description of the choices of hotels which we could have stayed. Luckily I picked the med village. Only after this I looked into the place further (even though you should do that before you book shouldn't you?! like I say we were in a hurry before the offer sold out) I got the airtours broucher and the hotel itself looked very nice from the pictures but then they always look nice in the photos don't they? I searched the internet...

H10 Las Palmeras, Tenerife - A1 Property

Advantages: Located next to beach
Disadvantages: None that I could see

...This is a lovely hotel. One of many on this Island. I wanted to let you know what I thought about it. I am in the Travel Industry so can be quite critical. Well here goes - ***********LOCATION*********** The hotel is only 15 Km from Tenerife Sur Airport making the transfer quite short. This was great after a 4 hour flight !!! This hotel is on Playa de las Américas beach, right next to the sea and there is direct access to the ocean promenade. I loved the way it is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The beach is just through a gate at rear of the pool area and The Veronicas and Starcos clubbing areas are about 5-10 mins walk away, as are a good variety of restaurants. ***********ROOMS*********** The room we had was slightly larger than most basic hotel rooms and we also had a fridge in the cupboard free of charge. H10 Salauris Palace, Salou - BRILL HOTEL !!!

Advantages: Located close to theme park
Disadvantages: Could be busy height of season

...We stayed in this hotel for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. I must admit that I work within the Travel Industry and would tend to be quite critical. But this hotel was great and met all our needs. *********LOCATION************* Best to start here. The transfer to the hotel was great. It is only 10 Km from Reus Airport, so it was ideal with a small child. Anybody with kids will know what I mean as the constant "Are we there yet ?" can really grate on your nerves. So we were no sooner on the coach than we were off again. Get shot at by a madman at the H10 Adeje Palace

Advantages: Peaceful Location
Disadvantages: Lack of basic shops

If that kind of thing is not your scene and you dont have children you can sit upstairs at the piano bar and even listen to someone playiong the saxaphone My 10 year old was of an age when he could join in with,waterpolo,football, archery etc he loved it and wants to go back. FOOD This was the usual buffet service. There was a wide choice and on the whole the food was very good, although it does get a bit repetitive. Also with the children the were desperate to finish and join in the activities, mini club etc. Thus it was a case of eat and get out. To be honest if I didnt have chikldren with me I would probaly go self catering and eat out , just becasue that is part of the evening. Iriver H10

Advantages: Sound quality, Design, Colour screen
Disadvantages: Quite big and bulky, Menu quite stiff when using, No way of searching for tracks, found many of the features unneccesary

...I decided to opt for a H10 after a dismall experience with my Creative Zen Micro. I was very impressed by the design and the colour screen that is probably the only good thing I can think of about this product. I was constantly irritated by the way in which you were unable to search tracks which meant that you had to go thorugh the contents of the player track by track in order to find the track you were looking for so if you were listening to a track starting with a and the you wanted to jump to a track starting with j then instead of being able to jump straight to the tracks starting with j you would have to go thorugh all the tracks a through j individually The software was awful to every time I loaded it on my PC it had a tendancy to make my machine crash and if it did load i would have to wait ages for it to see all...

...A first glance at this camera makes you wonder - is this a digicam or an SLR ..?? Let me help you - this camera allows you to take SLR quality snaps without even knowin what an SLR camera is...!!! With an 8.1 megapixel carl zeiss lens, 10x optical zoom and a really large - 3.5 inch screen, this camera makes me question myself - what more do you want in a digicam..? Though it takes a little time to master, its manual mode allows you to shoot snaps to your own taste and liking. Though slightly on the heavier and bulkier side, it fits wonderfully in your hands and gives you the feel of a professional photographer. Advantages: Lots of connectivity - Big keyboard - excellent screen - Good spec

The netbook is very light and can fit almost anywhere - it is very easy to carry around - you can set up anywhere and very easily connect to the internet where available. The netbook looks very stylish and everything is laid out well. The keyboard is the biggest i have ever seen on a netbook - its almost full size which is a bonus as I have a lot of typing to do. One disadvantage of this is that the mousepad has been made very small which is a nuisance - you do get used to it but it is not ideal. My background with computers is vast having built many and installed multiple operating systems on each, however i have never owned a laptop. Therefore i was a little dubious about some of the things such as keyboard size, processing power and battery life.
