Advantages: Physical and mental dental cleansing Disadvantages: A bit expensive and pretty disgusting effects
...I have the kind of teeth that could feature in a toothpaste advert. Unfortunately, the tagline for the advert would be ?If you don?t use our products, you could end up looking like this?? Sadly, years of neglect and an almost pathological fear of dentists have left me with a far from perfect set of gnashers.
Dental health, for me at least, is always going to be a case of shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. However, maybe I?m naturally lucky, but I?ve not had toothache in a long time, and I?m keen to make sure things stay that way. Especially as my fear of dentistry has not abated over the years.
This wasn?t a product I was aware of, merrily using my Colgate Plax, which seemed like the right thing to do, as I use Colgate toothpaste as well, until I heard about Dentyl pH from plainjane?s opinion on it. It didn...
Advantages: It works Disadvantages: contains fluoride
..."Try this mouthwash!" Said my wife one Sunday morning. "And look into the washbasin after you use it."
So I did. And I was stunned to see that, after following the instructions (shake well, rinse mouth for 30 seconds, gargle for 30 seconds, then spit in sink) the washbasin was covered in rather nasty looking little brightly coloured gobbets of stuff. This, according to Dentyl pH, is the stuff that causes bad breath and tooth decay.
When shaken up and activated the liquid inside looked like one of those glass or plastic shakers children have, with lots of little bits of starry material, all glittering in the liquid.
Dentyl pH comes in several flavours (some minty, some very minty, some without any mint whatsoever all of which seem to be less strong than you would think. It is also alcohol free.
It contains a substance called...

...I am very protective of my teeth, and am never happy when my dad used to come home with asda;s cheap mouth wash bottles. It not only tasted horrid, but clearly it was not that good for you! Now I am in charge of what mouth wash I use, and amways go for Dentyl pH!
The mouth wash comes in three colours: green, pink and blue. The one I always get is pink - seeing as it is my favourite colour, its what you could expect!. As far as my tastebuds go, they do not taste any different from each other, but the colour itself is pretty!
The mouthwash itself comes in a clear bottle, like any other. You can see through to the pink fluid with the blue bit on the top. Reading the back, you are instructed to shake the bottle. When you do this, the two colours mix and form a deep, magical purple colour. It looks very attractive when you pour it into...

Review of Dentyl pH
Advantages: has great cheap clothes Disadvantages: none
...H&M
After finding myself pregnant and realising I was going to have to put all my fantastic size 10 clothes to the back of the wardrobe and live in unsightly oversized smocks for the best part of seven months I was somewhat upset.
After having a look in the Next catalogue and finding their range of maternity wear disappointing to say the least I was determined I would find cheap affordable maternity wear that actually looked good even if it killed me. I had purchased a few items from Next but not wanting to overspend on clothes that I am hopefully not going to be wearing for a long while after this pregnancy I was limited due to the fact next maternity wear really did seem to be rather expensive.
The next stop was to Mothercare where I found a very disappointing range of very unflattering clothing. I asked...

Review of H&M
Advantages: A really great toothpaste... Disadvantages: ...that's really hard to get hold of !
...Have you ever noticed, whilst out shopping in supermarkets or chemists, how many different types of toothpastes there are ? In a recent trip to my local store, I counted over twenty different brands. There were pastes, gels and powders. There was peppermint flavoured, spearmint, freshmint, and orange and strawberry flavours for kids. There was whitening, fresh breath, fluoride, tartar control, gum protection, smokers, sensitive and extra sensitive varieties. How many ways can there be to clean your teeth ?
Ironically, this review is for a toothpaste that is unavailable in the shops, yet the brand is fairly well known.
Dentyl P. H. is probably best known for its mouthwash, and its publicity campaign a few years back. This is the mouthwash with an oil that lifts and removes bacteria so that "you can actually see it in the basin...

Review of Dentyl pH
...I've been lucky enough never to have experienced any problems with my teeth and am keen to keep it that way. After a visit to the dentist and the debtist remarking that I had a plaque build up, I decided that the simple brush and floss technique may not be enough. I'd tried mouthwashes before and not found them particularly pleasant, with often a very strong flavour and strong alcohol taste too.
So, in my local chemist I began browsing through my options. It was hard to choose one as all had very similar claims on the front - fight plaque, prevent tartar build up, kill bacteria etc. In truth, I opted for the Debtyl pH Mouthwash because I could remember seeing the advert, and had always been intrigued by what exactly that woman had seen in the sink!!
I opted for smooth mint flavour, it also came in 'refreshing clove' which didn...
