It is in a fantastic location very close to the Passeig de Gracia and a short walk to Las Ramblas and the Barri Gotic (about fifteen minutes walk). The metro and trains get you anywhere you want to go in Barcelona and its only a five minute walk to the nearest station. The metro and trains are reasonably priced. Metro is 1 euro per ride. Train from airport to bottom of Arago was 6.50 euros each way. Lovely clean hotel

Advantages: Amazing food, great rooms, friendly staff

...very filling and good value. The pool There was a pool up on the rooftop. I went to use it one day but found that it was quite small and not really the kind of pool you would sit by with a book. The area was a good suntrap though. Most hotel visitors seemed to head out rather than stay around the hotel. Clientele There weren't many families in this hotel - I have put average for this as I don't think it is a family focussed type of hotel. More for business visitors and city break types. As we were checking out, there was a rather loud hen party arriving, which may have livened the place up a bit. Local area The hotel is within walking distance of a subway station, supermarket, pharmacy and other amenities. The subway in Barcelona is easy to use to reach the tourist attractions. ...For those looking for a peaceful, laid-back and friendly hotel in the heart of Barcelona, this is the one. We arrived in the heat of a Summer's day, and were only too relieved to find our hotel foyer (and room) were eager to cool us down with their air con! The hotel immediately seemed worth more than it's 3 stars, with its marble foyer and art sculptures welcoming us in, as well as 2 friendly members of staff. They spoke a fair amount of English and were very keen to have someone take our bags up to our room which was much-needed on a hot day like that! Our room wasn't huge, but still an ample size for just 2 people. There were 2 single beds, a lovely leather armchair, a wardrobe with shelving, a safe, a flatscreen TV with about 15 channels, bedside tables, good lighting, drawers, air conditioning with controls and an ensuite bathroom...

...1. Our reservation via Active Hotels did not reach the reception desk of the H10 Itaca hotel in Barcelona, though it was done well in advance. I do not know which institution is "guilty" - Active Hotels or H10 staff. Fortunately this problem was solved by the smart guy at the reception, but the fact itself is disappointing (what if there were no free rooms). 2. Room was very small and noisy, overlooking the main street. Of course, in principle one could close the window, and to switch on the ventilation by AC. Unfortunately the noise of the buzzing AC was on the same level as that of the noisy street. 3. The room service was careless. One day we had to ask for the shampoo, etc. 4. There are no carpeting on the floors. It is itself uncomfortable, but the main problem was that the staff usually started cleaning the neighboring rooms...

H10 Salauris Palace, Salou - BRILL HOTEL !!!

...We stayed in this hotel for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. I must admit that I work within the Travel Industry and would tend to be quite critical. But this hotel was great and met all our needs. *********LOCATION************* Best to start here. The transfer to the hotel was great. It is only 10 Km from Reus Airport, so it was ideal with a small child. Anybody with kids will know what I mean as the constant "Are we there yet ?" can really grate on your nerves. So we were no sooner on the coach than we were off again. A noisy room or a small room?

...I can`t believe that I saw this hotel at ciao.co.uk top products without reviews because I have actually stayed there last month. The taxi from the airport costs 28 euros but keep in mind that they charge for the luggae as well. I think that it was 3 or 4 euros per bag. Bring credit crads with you as they want to swipe it befor you check in. They need to hold some money in case of mini bar usage or some damage to the room. If you don`t have a credit card they want 30 euros cash per day, just as a deposit. The room we were in was really, really noisy. It is good that the hotel is situate really close to the main attractions and sights but it is also on a main road, so you can imagine the noise. My second visit to a Group H10

Advantages: Good Location, only two years old

...Well I am sure many of you have read my previous op on the H10 Med Village I stayed in in Salou. This was my second experience of staying in another Group H10 Hotel. We visited La Nina in Costa Adeje just two weeks ago so everything about this hotel is fresh in mind. On arrival to the hotel I thought it was a bit odd. Stuck in the middle of the main street with shops practically attached to the hotel and underneath it on a lower floor. Going into the reception area you just couldn't help but be amazed though. This looked like a classy hotel. Marble everywhere, a large reception desk on the right hand side, a large seating area and a massive winding stair case going down to the lower floor. Going in to the reception/entrance to the hotel you are going straight in on floor four. There are a total of 10 floors in this hotel...
