Haagen Dazs Strawberry cheese cake ice cream - An expensive one

Advantages: Good texture and rich in taste
Disadvantages: Too expensive

...I had always heard so much about then famous brand of Haagen Dazs and was curious to know what was so great about their ice creams. While I was going for all the local brands and found the ice creams wuite good, I was intrigued and wanted to try this just once. Well, on browsing their varieties I found the strawberry cheese cake the best, more so because I am a big fan of strawberry flavours especially if they are using fresh strawberrys or the extract. The ice cream was allright and my tub contained 100 ml of it. It cam ein for around 1.5 punds which I found rather expensive. It was an attractive carton tub with pictures of fresh strawberries and cheese cake on it. I simply love cheese cake so I counldn't have chosen anything different for a flavour. Although all Haagen Daz ice-cream has a repuation of being delicious, I have to say this is my definate favourite.And I must have tried nearly every one!!Not that I'm a pig! Dont let the price or the calorie-content put you off. Although this ice cream is divine it is also extremely rich and I personally find it very difficult to eat in great quantities. It is therefore great to just keep in the freezer and keep dipping into every time you have a craving for something a bit naughty. A spoonful here and another there is a really good way to enjoy it. This way a 500ml tub will last you ages and justifies the price. Personally I enjoy it best eaten by itself. ...I've always been a Ben & Jerry's fan, but the absence of Cookie Dough ice cream at my local ASDA store lead me to buy a tub of my favourite flavour from it's rival - Haagen Dazs. I'll admit, I wasn't too happy with the decision, but I honestly can't be bothered to go to a different store just for a tub of ice cream. Haagen Dazs - My true love!

Advantages: Delicious taste, recyclable pot.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, can be a little sickly.

...I purchased this 500ml tub of Haagen Dazs Belgian Chocolate for £4.25 from our local fish & chip shop recently when treating my fiance to a takeaway for tea after he had a hard day at work. The ice cream is provided in a cardboard round pot with a plastic lid and I believe the whole thing is recyclable (I throw it in the recycling bin anyway!). Once you open the lid you can smell the chocolate ice cream straight away and the smell is enough to make your mouth water before you've even got you spoon dug in! The ice cream is pretty hard if it's just come straight from the freezer so I would recommend leaving it out on the side for 10 minutes or leaving it in the fridge for half hour (we left it in the fridge whilst eating our delicious takeaway). Hagaan Dazs Dream - Pralines and Cream

Advantages: Tastes Amazing (diets beware)!
Disadvantages: Pricey - but worth it!

The premise of Hagaan Dazs is that they only use the best quality ingredients in their products and it shows! This time I'm reviewing Pralines and Cream but every other flavour lives up to the same high standard (Strawberry Shortcake is perfect for Summer).
