...I have one of these toasters and also bought one for a friend whose toaster had recently given up the ghost....or should that be given up on toast!! It is quite attractive to look at and for the price I paid (£5 each in an on-line sale), excellent value for money. It is easy to operate and is fairly quick. It also has a cancel button, which is a handy feature. It has 2 toasting slots and a bun warmer button and rack, along with browning control, frozen bread setting and reheat option. The crumb tray removes for easy emptying and the electric cable wraps round clips fitted in the base and the plug clips into a small recess at the side, so it can be stored neatly. I found a bargain with this one,for just £9.95 i have a stylish 1.7 litre capacity kettle. It has three level boil dry cut out safety feature,in the event of the kettle being empty when switched on. The builders, bless their cotton socks broke my kettle and they replaced it with this Haden corded kettle I am not ever so happy about it but at least they replaced my kettle without being asked. This white auto jug kettle cost about £18. The guarantee is for 12 months. A plug is already fitted to the lead. I find the cord/lead a little short .I am sorry I can find no info on the length and I can not find a measuring tool its about 30 cm long I guestimate . This kettle is a tall jug with a water level gauge on the side. I find this useful. It will boil 1.7 litres of water. The on off switch is located on the handle of the kettle. This is pushed down to start the kettle top boil and when the kettle boils it automatically switches off. My husband thinks it takes a long time to boil. The spout is fine... Read review

...When my old faithfull toaster finally went to toaster heaven I bought the Morphy Richards coolstyle toaster mainley due to the jazzy colours - they come in a bright blue, yellow and lime green. I only had it for 3 months and bang! - No more toast for me! In the 3 months that I was a proud owner of a lime green toaster it really did do good toast ie not over cooked and at an incredible speed. it is a reasonable priced toaster but not that reasonable priced for the three months i had it! I settled on a boring replacement ie not a jazzy colour! dont be taken in by looks! Get a toaster that really lasts.... Read review

...We have had our Haden kettle now for about 19 months. That is easy to recall as its only about a month older than our baby LOL Haden make a range of budget kitchen gadget type appliances and seem to be able to keep in business, so obviously they are not too dodgy even though not the most expensive on the market! That was our reasoning anyway :)And sorry for the truly dreadful pun in the title!!!!! (Blush!) Our particular kettle is white with a greenish water indicator window. There is a red light on the on button near the base of the jug, which lights up to let you know it has been switched on. The cordless kettle sits nicely on its short corded base plate. ...The Morphy Richards 44420 chrome toaster is small but very stylish. I purchased this toaster a few years ago and still occasionally use it. Because they have been making toasters since 1946, and apparently just because its expensive it is good. Also they are British, support the economy and all that. ...There didn't seem to be much wrong with my old toaster... it did the job... well, to a fashion - it turned bread into toast (ok, so it was always dark at the edges and pale in the middle, but it was toast). There didn't seem to be any reason to change my old toaster, until a Tradex leaflet popped through the door promoting their special offers - included amongst these was the Morphy Richards Europa toaster at only £14.99 - seemed like a good price and worth a look.
