...This review is for the HAIER HW-C1470TVEME-U washing machine. Setup ---------- I have to admit the setup is very easy to do but you can have issues. You unpack the washing machine from the fantastic pack and you just place it where you like. The only odd part to setup is that sometimes you do need to open up the door and make the drum inside rotate a few times in order to begin your first wash. This is because it needs to know it is in use before hand, so this is the one thing you might have to do to begin setup. Design ----------- This washing machine is a really nice design. You have the door which has the glass there and the glass appears to be this light blue. great low cost washer

Advantages: Easy to use and a great price
Disadvantages: none

...what you have set. Also the booklet that comes with the machine gives you a list of error codes that may show up on the lcd display if there is a problem, and tells you what these codes mean. When in use the machine is not that noisy, but obviously this does increase slightly when it spins. Our dinning room is right next to the kitchen and when the adjoining door is closed we can not hear the machine when its in use. This is very easy to keep clean and a wipe with a damp cloth is all thats needed to wipe any marks or stains off it. We have had this machine for 12 months and we have had no problems with it at all. Value dishwasher

I was surprised to find a leading Chinese manufacturer established in 1984 with German knowhow. They have since expanded into Europe and are one of the top businesses in mainland China. Chinese dishwashers? Why not. I ordered a Haier WQP6-2 via the searchappliance website (no delivery charge) and it arrived within four days. After unpacking, I pushed it into the space under the hob with baited breath. It was a few centimetres too short and a few centimetres too narrow but the depth was perfect. It looked better than the Zanussi. Problem solved. So how well does the Haier perform? Pretty well, actually. The machine, which only comes in white, has six place settings. A great machine for those on a budget

Advantages: Price, features, low noise, good energy efficiency
Disadvantages: Spin sometimes fails due to uneven load. LEDs difficult to see in bright light.

...The Haier P5 is small, sleek, beautiful design, but that is as far as it goes. It is relatively easy to use, once you get used to turning the screen sideways and there are the basic functions that most people would use such as phone book, SMS and an alarm clock. There is also a calculator, games and a laser (Not available in the UK due to restrictions). The main problems with this phone is because it is small it has a very limited talk time and standby time and even if you can live with these as a compensation for a beautiful, small phone there are other problems with it. One of the main problems is SMS. The Haier P5 cannot write words over nine letters long in the predictive text style mode, and although most people do not use long words in SMS, words such as accommodation, travelling, and many others take so much longer to input...

Faulty software from the word go

Advantages: Quiet
Disadvantages: Fauly stock in circulation, poor wash cycle options

...Our landloard cursed us with this machine about a month ago. From the very first load it would not spin either at the end or during the wash meaning washing regularly came out soapy and soaked. After reporting it to comet for repair, they have replaced the PCB (programme control board) and it now appears to work correctly. It appears that these machines are being sold with a known fault in the PCB software that causes the machine to believe the load is unbalanced when it is not. It may be possible to tell which version of the software your machine has. Before ours was "repaired" the ECO button had options for 1:3 1:2 3:4 and Full. After the new PCB was installed we were told this would change to L1, L2, L3, L4 and A which it has. If your machine has the old set of ECO options and it fails to spin regularly you definately need...

Low Price for a Decent Product

Advantages: inexpensive, no animal testing, gentle on skin

...I have tried various bargain conditioners in the past when I ran out and was either broke or in a hurry and could not be bothered to run out except to my local shop. This last time around I happened to be in Asda and my better half was waiting impatiently for me to get on with the shopping. I hurriedly grabbed a bottle of Asda's new Frequent Conditioner. It was only 74 p so i figured if it was terrible , it was no big loss. I chose the Frequent conditioner because I wash my haier fairly frequently, and I chose the dry/damaged hair variety as my hair is long and tends to get dry in the middle down to the ends. Also, I occassionally colour my hair, so i figured the extra help could come in handy. It contains extracts of honey and orange blossom so it smells lovely. The conditioner is rather thick and creamy, so take care to work it...
