...This review is for the HAIER HW-C1470TVEME-U washing machine. Setup ---------- I have to admit the setup is very easy to do but you can have issues. You unpack the washing machine from the fantastic pack and you just place it where you like. The only odd part to setup is that sometimes you do need to open up the door and make the drum inside rotate a few times in order to begin your first wash. This is because it needs to know it is in use before hand, so this is the one thing you might have to do to begin setup. Design ----------- This washing machine is a really nice design. You have the door which has the glass there and the glass appears to be this light blue. A great machine for those on a budget

I purchased mine from Comet, and the assistant explained that Haier were huge in Asia and that they had experienced no returns on this product as yet. HW6915

Advantages: WiFi/GPS/Phone/'Keyboard' etc
Disadvantages: Battery life could be better; Camera average

...I've had mine now for over 3 months and must say I am very impressed with the device. My previous PDA was an iPaq 3630, so needless to say, the HW6915 packs a heck of a lot more. The WiFi works very well, with the option to sacrifice battery life for antenna power. Bluetooth again very simple to set up - linked to my handsfree earpiece no problem. The phone works well, once you get over the size of the unit compared to a normal mobile; great for text messages though! The camera isn't all that great, the pictures are OK, but my phone also has a 1.3mp camera and appears to provide higher quality photos. The flash on the HW6915 camera really isn't that great, providing very grainy shots in low light. The GPS really works very well. I was a little unsure how good it would be, considering it isn't the most recent chip set, but...

Value dishwasher

Advantages: Reasonably priced, unique dimensions

...-loading dishwasher made by Haier priced at a remarkable £209. Haier was not a familiar name so I clicked through to their website. I was surprised to find a leading Chinese manufacturer established in 1984 with German knowhow. They have since expanded into Europe and are one of the top businesses in mainland China. Chinese dishwashers? Why not. I ordered a Haier WQP6-2 via the searchappliance website (no delivery charge) and it arrived within four days. After unpacking, I pushed it into the space under the hob with baited breath. It was a few centimetres too short and a few centimetres too narrow but the depth was perfect. It looked better than the Zanussi. Problem solved. So how well does the Haier perform? Pretty well, actually. The machine, which only comes in white, has six place settings. This is half the capacity of most family dishwashers...

Washing Blues ( NOT )

great low cost washer

...what you have set. Also the booklet that comes with the machine gives you a list of error codes that may show up on the lcd display if there is a problem, and tells you what these codes mean. When in use the machine is not that noisy, but obviously this does increase slightly when it spins. Our dinning room is right next to the kitchen and when the adjoining door is closed we can not hear the machine when its in use. This is very easy to keep clean and a wipe with a damp cloth is all thats needed to wipe any marks or stains off it. We have had this machine for 12 months and we have had no problems with it at all.
