...I am a bit of a slave to my hair as it needs washing every day. Although some hair stylists don't recommend daily washing, I think some peoples' hair just needs it, and I'm one of those people. If you have a morning when you're in a real rush, washing and drying your hair can be too time-consuming. It can be much quicker to pop a shower-cap on and have a quick shower without having to deal with shampooing, conditioning and using a hairdryer for 20 minutes - but I never feel clean and presentable if my hair looks a little bit greasy. I bought Batiste Dry Shampoo ('original' scent) from my local chemists' for rushed mornings such as those. It cost just £2.07 so I could afford to experiment with it. Advantages: Smells great, makes greasy hair look fabulous, can be used to create killer styles!

...Ok so this is my first review on here and I think it's appropriate that I write about a product that people should be wary of, but should be in every girl...and boy's handbag! I had an aversion to dry shampoo as I had always associated it with people who could not be bothered to wash their hair, or just dirty people in general! That was a little bad of me and I am ashamed! Washing your hair regulary can be very bad for it indeed, depending on what sort of hair you have, some people can get away with washing it as often as they please and other poor souls get left with dry brittle hair if they so much as wash it more than once a week. When it got to a certain length, I purchased a pair of £20 straighteners from a supermarket. Cheap and cheerful dry shampoo for those bad hair days

...The aim of a dry shampoo is that it acts as a pick me up to hair between washes. This particular brand I picked up in Boots and is usually priced around £1.99 for a 150ml aerosol. Now I have A LOT of hair, its long and thick and consequently gets in the way a lot of the time. I espeially have an awful habit of pushing back the front, which means that I often have normal hair except at the roots and in hot weather my hair tends to stick to where I sweat...lovely! So I needed a product that stopped me from washing my hair twice a day and this seemed to do the trick. The packaging is a yellow tin with some tropical leaves (as this is the tropical version) and does look very appealing for someone who is going on holiday as this is the time when you get the worst greasy roots and where hair suffers most. Definitely puts you in a holiday...

Great for short thin hair

...I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would recommend these to anyone with shorter or thin hair. A fashion conscientious male friend of mine used these and loved them and were perfect for his short hair. I would recommend using the straightening oil with these as they are very hot and I did find a few burnt strands of hair ....

Good Hair Day? Definitely!

...I've had these hair straighteners for roughly six months now and have used them probably every day since I was given them, so I feel fairly qualified to give my opinion: that I really can't recommend them highly enough!! The quality of GHDs is unbeatable - I've used a lot of hair straighteners in my time, and I've got to say that they really do give consistently good results. They heat up in roughly fifteen seconds, and you can straighten hair very quickly in a rush with a fairly good finish - which as you can imagine saves huge amounts of time in the mornings! Generally, unless your hair is remarkably stubborn, the hair will also stay straight for the duration of the day. It's also worth noting that they're pretty versatile, and as my hairdresser demonstrated a few days ago, it's quite easy to get nice curls using these hair...

...These straighteners are the best hair straighteners I have ever used, they heat up in about 10 seconds, beep when they're ready to use and then if you forget to turn them off they switch themselves off which is great if you're like me and have often come home to find my bed covers completely singed. They're very hot which although on the one hand is good because they work really well for every type of hairstyle you can ever want to do, straighten, curl, volumise etc. However, if you don't use a comb when straightening your hair you can quite often burn your fingers on your hair. GHD really do offer quality products as a general rule and I would never use any other straighteners. This is my 3rd pair of GHD's so really I have no complaints, however, my hot pink straighteners have had to be sent back to GHD on 2 different occasions...

...has been switched on, I literally wait about 1 minute and it?s burning hot, ready for use! Another good thing is that it has a safety element, in which it detects if the straighter has been left switched on! So after a while, it cools down automatically! None of that ?have I left the straighters on?? nonsense, that everyone seems to worry about!! All in all, the only down side is that you can?t use it on wet hair, which just means you need to invest in a good hairdryer to use beforehand (if you?re not into letting it dry naturally!). So yeah, go for this product! Or any other ghd product ? they are simply the best, and will give you a ?good hair day? !! :o)...
