...L'oreal's ultra fixing spray is an excellent hair spray. It gives out a fine spray of the hair spray so you dont get too much of the stuff all in one place. It drys quickly and does not give you sticky looking hair or hair that is all stuck together. It holds hair in place very well and is excellent if you want to create ''big hair do's''.It gives a natural looking hold to hair. It is also very easy to brush out at the end of the day and you dont end up with any white flaky bits unlike some hair sprays. It is a reasonable priced product and lasts along time.... Read review

...Shock waves ultra strong volumising gel spray really does live up to its name It is ultra strong!! Its best on short hair do's where a spiky or messy look is called for. You spray it and your hair will stay in that style basically. It's not too good on long hair as it just seems to clomp into place. IF you need to brush or comb your hair after using this gel spray - just forget it your hair will be as stiff as a board! It will leave your hair and hands feeling very sticky. ...This is one of the many hair sprays i have tried in my efforts to get my hair to stay curly all day long. It only cost me £1.39 for a can of this hair spray and it is quite a large can, too big for the average hand bag. You press down the top of the can with your finger to make it spray, it doesnt always come out very even so you will have patches of hair with more hair spray than others. This spray doesnt set hard like i prefer my hair spray to, it leaves your hair slightly stiffer and your style wont fall out untill you brush your hair but on a windy day it will still blow your hair all over the place. This spray is ideal if you just want a gentle hold that you can brush out as it brushes out very easily and doesnt seem to leave white bits behind but it just isnt strong enough to do the job for me and it smells very strong so open... At £7.99 a bottle it does not come cheap but as you only need a quick squirt the bottle should last you ages! Tigi Spray shine is a non greasy spray unlike other shine products. It is a great instant shine product that takes the hassle out of getting shiny hair unlike other shine products. There's no gunky hands and limp hair with this spray. The Spray is simplicity in itself to use just spray on your hair after you've finished styling it, brush the spray throw and hey presto insant shiny hair. The spray is also purportedly good for fixing split ends and easing frizz. The spray is easy to wash or brush out at the end of the day. ...I have wavy hair - in between straight and curly. It is really annoying because it doesn't go naturally straight or naturally curly, just a mess in between. So I bought straighteners and now straighten my hair. After using straighteners for a while I noticed that I was starting to get split ends and my hair was becoming quite static. I decided to try out TRESemme Heat Defence Styling Spray because I had seen the advert on TV and it looked quite good. After I have a shower, I spray it onto my wet hair and then blowdry my hair. I then spray some more on before I straighten my hair. The spray leaves my hair soft, shiny and smelling nice! It is easy to apply - just spray! It leaves your hair with a really nice smell. ...If it doesn't come naturally, fake it! Healthy shine in a can. I was first introduced to this spray after getting my hair bleached at a salon. My hair being quite dry lacked it's natural shine and so my stylist used this spray to finish. Although it can be quite expensive in the salons, I advise anyone buying Tigi hair products to look online, as I did, I saved £5 on this product and it is a bargain. I bought the spray months ago, I try to save it for nights out, however I give my hair a quick spray in the morning, and it's lasted me a good while. There's no need to go wild with this spray. My stylist sprays it whilst blowdrying my hair (not on wet hair) so it covers all my hair with a healthy shine. Unlike hairspray, this spray does not leave your hair stiff at all, it keeps your hair soft and natural. Great product, would definately... Read review

...From my days of hairdressing, I always used a gel spray instead of hair spray as it is so versatile to use and you can still fiddle with the hair once it's been sprayed. When I left the world of hairdressing, I still wanted to continue using a gel spray on my own hair to achieve the looks I always had. I tried various brands and was disappointed with the hold and how sticky it made my hair feel,'easy to brush out' they said, yeh right, with a rake! I started using the VO5 Gel Spray and was very impressed, it was just like the gel spray we used in the salon which was bought from a warehouse, only open to businesses, shame. I wanted lift and hold without the stickiness and this gave everything. ...Shock waves strong shape and hold spray definetly lives up to it's name - if you want a firm hold spray then you will not get any better than this hair spray. I found that the hold was a little bit too firm for my likeing - i ended up with hair that did not move what so ever1 It gave me completely un natural looking hair! It also left my hair feeling very "hard and sticky". It is a reasonable priced hair spray but its not one that I would recommend unless you were after the latest "punk2 look! Every time I combed my daughter's long and very curly hair I am sure that the neighbours, if not the whole village, thought I was being cruel to her. ...Clairol Daily Defense Fortifying leave in conditining spray is an excellent product. At £2.99 a bottle its very reasonable and lasts for ages. The spray is a heat activated conditioner so you do need to use a hair dryer for it to work! Basically after applying moussse or other styling products liberally spray the conditioner throw your hair, then blo dry as normal. You will not find any build up with this spray and its really an easy way to condition your hair especially if you are in a hurry. The conditioner is formulated to help condition your hair and more importantly to protect it from heat - ie your hair dryer! I tend to use it as a supplementry conditioner so have not thrown out my normal conditioner. As i've got very dry hair I feel that my hair still needs a proper conditioner!
