Quick but effective treat for hair

Advantages: Leaves hair shiny & healthy, really quick to use

...easy to rinse out, although I have always given my hair a really good rinse after using it because you can?t really feel it so its hard to tell if it is all rinsed out or not. When I rinsed it out to be honest I didn?t notice a bit difference, my hair felt fairly smooth but nothing major, like you feel after using a deep conditioner. But when I came to dry my hair I noticed how shiny it looked! I?ve now used 3 of the tubes, one a week, and my hair has definitely become a lot glossier and healthier looking. I actually think it has given better results than deep conditioning treatments I have used. It has never weighed my hair down either or made it look greasy or lank which is really good. Overall Opinion? This is a really good product, it has really made a difference to my hair and is good value for money. I think it is ideal...

A Thirst Quenching Treatment For Battered Hair

Disadvantages: Smell might not be to everyones taste

...I have just realised that this year I've changed my hair colour and style more often than the rest of my life put together! I thought I'd found the perfect hairdresser, who wasn't afraid to experiment, without making me look like a complete idiot at the same time. I was wrong. Well, I never looked like a complete idiot (I hope!) but she didn't seem to know when to stop putting bleach on top of bleach on top of bleach, and not even conditioning it after!! So you can imagine just how dry my hair was at the end of this. I'd washed my hair one day after coming home from the hairdressers and put on my usual intensive conditioner to try and improve it's condition, but it didn't even touch it! It still felt like straw. So off I went to Boots to look for an extremely intensive treatment to sort my hair out before it all broke off...

...After having very short and spiky hair for most of my teens and early 20's, I decided earlier this year that I need a change and decided to grow my hair. When it got to a certain length, I purchased a pair of £20 straighteners from a supermarket. Great for short thin hair

...I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would recommend these to anyone with shorter or thin hair. A fashion conscientious male friend of mine used these and loved them and were perfect for his short hair. I would recommend using the straightening oil with these as they are very hot and I did find a few burnt strands of hair ....

Good Hair Day? Definitely!

...I've had these hair straighteners for roughly six months now and have used them probably every day since I was given them, so I feel fairly qualified to give my opinion: that I really can't recommend them highly enough!! The quality of GHDs is unbeatable - I've used a lot of hair straighteners in my time, and I've got to say that they really do give consistently good results. They heat up in roughly fifteen seconds, and you can straighten hair very quickly in a rush with a fairly good finish - which as you can imagine saves huge amounts of time in the mornings! Generally, unless your hair is remarkably stubborn, the hair will also stay straight for the duration of the day. ...These straighteners are the best hair straighteners I have ever used, they heat up in about 10 seconds, beep when they're ready to use and then if you forget to turn them off they switch themselves off which is great if you're like me and have often come home to find my bed covers completely singed. They're very hot which although on the one hand is good because they work really well for every type of hairstyle you can ever want to do, straighten, curl, volumise etc. However, if you don't use a comb when straightening your hair you can quite often burn your fingers on your hair. GHD really do offer quality products as a general rule and I would never use any other straighteners. This is my 3rd pair of GHD's so really I have no complaints, however, my hot pink straighteners have had to be sent back to GHD on 2 different occasions...

Advantages: Unscented, leaves hair shiny, manageable and with body for up to four washes!

Having dyed and highlighted my hair a few times over the past couple of years, it was beginning to look a bit dull and dry. You know the signs - you use good shampoo and conditioner, you dry your hair and even though you use protecting lotions and a low heat, your hairdryer still leaves your hair looking kind of frizzy...very annoying.
