...I was an alien. A few people said "You had your hair cut- it looks so different- wow." He demanded I go back another time to be photographed for his final examination. He had not mentioned this at the preliminary cutting. His teacher did not pass him on the haircut- said one side was shorter than the other and insisted he shorten the other and even out the length all over. Colchester Hairdressers

Advantages: They know what THEY want
Disadvantages: Do not listen to the customer.

...I went to the hairdressers today....which now I regret AGAIN! I used to live in Leicester, the hairdressers I used there was brillant in doing what the customer wanted. I would go in with a couple of pictures and my hair was done almost exactly as the pictures were. I went every 6 weeks or so for years and never had a complaint with them. Then a couple of years ago I moved to Colchester, BAD HAIR MOVE! I must point out first, my hair is thin but naturally curly and at the time long. went to three different hairdressers over the first few years just for a tidy up with not much of a problem except they did not seem to know about scrunch drying, but it was ok as the cut was ok. Bum-numbing but great hair

Advantages: A trendy haircut that costs you less than £15!
Disadvantages: 4 hours on your backside!

...that I was here now and that I would take whatever they threw at me. Also, I only got charged the student and nurses rate because I said I was a teacher ... HURRAH! After being asked if we were 'open' to something 'new and different' we were lead into a room at the basement. I was sat in front of a mirror with the name 'Kazuma' on it ... I wondered who Kazuma was, and did s/he know how to cut hair? Thankfully the Advanced Academy only has experienced hairdressers there, just teaching them new Sassoon styles, so at least you know you're in good hands. Half an hour in and one guy came around asking if we minded colour being put in our hair. Advantages: A modern, edgey hair cut for a bargain!
Disadvantages: Very time-consuming, can be quite boring, and a sore bum.

Advantages: Cheap and cheeful, you usually get a very good hair cut, an interesting experience
Disadvantages: Takes a long time, your student may make a mess of your hair

Disadvantages: You stand to lose an awful lot of money, and hair.

I started to wonder if I would have any hair left to straighten after all this commotion.
