High class whores, academia and political intrigue

Advantages: Sigourney Weaver is good
Disadvantages: Story doesn't really go anywhere, confusing when it does

Atmosphere on the moon.

Advantages: Intelligent science fiction.
Disadvantages: Slow moving.

Advantages: Old fashioned 'B' movie

...Destination Moon. At the time of its pending release this film was massively promoted claiming to portray accurately but with the twist of adventure how man will get to the Moon and stay there. Advantages: Folk rock at it's best, magical lyrics, soothing vocals and enchanting lullabies, a real treat for the ears

The Almost Moon

Advantages: Unusual, excellent writing skills
Disadvantages: Sometimes can get a bit annoying

...I wasn't really expecting much with this book, as honestly the only reason I picked it up was because I was looking for another of Sebold's book at the library. They didn't have it, but they did have The Almost Moon, and as I hadn't read it before I thought I'd give it a go. The plot is based around the character of Helen, and her mother Clair. On the very first page Helen kills her mother, and the rest of the novel is based around the aftermath of this and the story of her life leading up to the moment of Clair's murder. It looks at what Helen's life was like with Clair, the relationships she has with her daughters which she feels have been strained because of her mother, her ex husband, and her father. SHOOT FOR THE MOON

Half dead

Advantages: Starts well, compelling
Disadvantages: Forced ending

...for a few months. Much to my chagrin, I have since discovered that the filming took place in North Wales rather than Scotland. Nevertheless, the setting is still beautifully wild and remote and the film, although it has its flaws, is not a bad way of passing a couple of hours. It is many moons since I have seen Demi Moore, who plays Rachel, in anything and I am disappointed to say that she looks almost as fresh-faced as she did twenty years ago. The fact that her hair is constantly tangled because of the gale force winds and she therefore doesn't look as perfect as she could have is her saving grace. That aside, I thought she gave a good performance as a woman half-mad with grief - and I found her acting around the death of her son to be flawless and utterly convincing. Advantages: Visually stunning, superb central performance, clever plot

WHAT IS IT: Moon is the directorial debut from Duncan Jones (David Bowie's son!) and stars Sam Rockwell as Sam Bell. Sam is the sole human inhabitant of a lunar base and he is charged with overseeing the machines which harvest Helium3 to send back to Earth. His only company is a robot named GERTY - voiced by Kevin Spacey - whose purpose is to help Sam in any way it can. Give skin radiance with Moon Beam

Advantages: Lovely colour, easy to apply, can be used any time
Disadvantages: Expensive, goes off quite quickly

...I got this as a present from my friend about a year ago and after forgetting it existed for a few months but then finding it and using it again recently I thought I would review it. I've had a look on the official site and found out it sells for £15.50 for the 13ml bottle and I know you can get Benefit stuff from most Boots or Debenhams stores. I thought it was a really interesting present and quite unique which is typical of Benefit who are quite an innovative brand always coming up with original ideas. I'm not aware that I had seen any products like it anywhere else when I got it and even now I've not seen many similar things. Packaging... The packaging, as with all the Benefit products is gorgeous making it ideal as a present. It comes in a peach coloured box with 'moon beam' written on the front in big nice lettering...
