...the account my money was paid in to. The general service at the counter whenever I have visited a Halifax branch has been excellent. I was used to minimal eye contact and the odd grunt from the staff at my ex-bank Abbey, so I was pleased to be called my my name, thanked for waiting if there was a queue and to receive smiles all round. Call centre staff are quick to answer, and carry out the same level of service of branch staff. I won?t go into detail over interest rates etc., as at the moment these seam to be ever changing and any information I give out regarding rates could be useless to anyone in a matter of days. However I have always found the Halifax to be very competitive with their rates, if not offering the best rates available in the banking market place. All in One

Advantages: Easy to apply, natural looking
Disadvantages: Not enough colours, changes colour from dry to wet

...when it's wet. It's really easy to apply by just getting the foundation on the sponge and sweeping it over your face, blending from the middle of your face outward. To apply it wet I find I need to wet the sponge a few times during application because it dries out very quickly and then the foundation goes back to going on as a powder. If you use it dry it's just like putting on a pressed powder but it just gives a little more coverage. It feels really lightweight and you can't really feel it once you've finished applying it. It gives fairly good coverage, covering all but the darkest blemishes, but if you have any dry skin it sticks to it and makes it look awful. I'd prefer to be able to use it this way as it gives a lighter, more natural finish, but as I already said, the colour is darker when you apply it this way, so I have to use it...

...This stylish yet practical remote is simple and easy to use. Its slick, black, polished layout gives it an undeniable appeal. It is essentially just a remote, however it can offer so many different functions, that it is a must for anyone with a plethora of digital equipment such as; Televisions, VCR's. Jill Murphy is quite a prolific children's writer and is well known for her 'Worst Witch' series of books. She has also written a number of books about a family of elephants, called the Large family,and this book is part of that series. This particular one was written in 1987 and has certainly stood the test of time! Although they are elephants, the Large family take on all the characteristics and traits of any normal family. Feeling very sorry for myself I wandered down the medical aisle of Asda looking for something to ease my aches and pains, blocked nose and cough. I saw various flu remedies and finally picked up a packet of Beechams All In One Tablets as they claimed that they would fix a headache, blocked nose, sore throat and chesty cough. Halifax - infelixible, inconsiderate, and greedy

Disadvantages: let me down in an emergency, refused flexibility when I needed it

I didn't actually have a choice about which bank to put my money with - as far as my mum was concerned, it was her bank, it worked for her, so i was going with them.
