Halo3

Advantages: Fantastic multi-player, Simple to get into, difficult to put down!
Disadvantages: Short 1 player game. Need to pay extra for more multi-player maps

...The game that made me put my hand in my pocket to buy the system!!! The same can be said of the 1st Halo, both these games made the difference between Sony & Microsoft getting my hard earned! Loved the original Halo, it set the benchmark @ the time. In Halo 3, the single player mode is good fun but not long enough or different enough to really push itself beyond the levels of Halo 1&2, it's really more of the same(run around, kill the alien invaders known as the covenant, well, anything that isn't wearing green & talking in an American accent) with a few tweaks & greatly improved graphics. That isn't necessarily a bad thing tho, as the 1st 2 were great! Advantages: Best game ever with infinite features and things to do!

...Halo Wars came out at the end of February and is the forth game under the Halo name. The first three games were excellent first person shooters, but here Microsoft have played on the brand name to produce a game that otherwise would have disappeared into obscurity before it was even produced. And is trading on the status Spartan117 had achieved. Halo Wars is a strategy game, set before the time of the Halo event (so not exactly Halo wars then!). The video cut scenes at the beginning are fine, reasonably good quality and bode well for the game. Unfortunately they are the best things about the game. Halo Wars: Halo takes on Command & Conquer

...Gameplay Straight away the game smells like a console port. There has been little to no effort made to hide the fact at all. And seeing as though Halo was, at first, a PC only title it’s hard to remove the knife in the back at this point. I’m not going to lie to you, a lot about this game is wrong. There are so many niggles you just want to dive in head first. So I will. Jumping: Wrong. You jump up into the air and then you seem to float down in twice the amount of time it took you to get up. Pistol: Wrong. How come you can zoom in with the handgun but not the assault rifle? There’s no scope on the sidearm so it must be done using the helmet, surely. Assault rifle: Wrong. Aside from the lack of zoom from the magical helmet, the gun is woefully inaccurate. Things are supposed to improve as time goes on...

Halo 3, A Masterpiece

Advantages: Fantastic game play, beautiful graphics, cool soundtrack, awesome campign, excellent multiplayer

...Playing this game really did remind me of being a kid again, the super jumps, the big explosions and lets not forget the ever increasing desire to shoot bad guys! I'm a university student, and i have a LOT of time on my hands. If there was a degree for playing halo i would have it. I have killed so much time playing this game i would hate to see my electricity bill! This game is a fantastic way to kill time, socialize, or both. I think it's the best halo yet by far and for so many reasons. The graphics have improved ten-fold since halo 2, the game play has been vastly improved. The mechanics of the soldiers is mesmerizing to watch, the way they move is fantastically realistic. The campaign fantastically concluded this highly rated trilogy.
