...While awaiting inspiration for a new review, I remembered that this one was overdue for an update. Although I rewrote it a year or so ago for Dooyoo, to include selected items from handbag reviews posted over there, I never got round to revising the Ciao version. So here it is. All the articles mentioned appeared in reviews by women on one site or the other. * What have I in my handbag? I mustn't tell you lies; In truth the only bags I own Are those beneath my eyes. Bags of jiffy bag envelopes

...I received a DVD in a jiffy bag recently opened the bag carefully and put the bag ready to reuse with about 20 other old jiffy bags I have ready for recycling. Actually I am not sure that all of them are genuine jiffy bags but they are the same sort of thing. Jiffy bags made by Jiffy have been available for several years now I think they go back to the 1950?s. Jiffy bags are handy padded envelope bags that can be bought in a variety of sizes some as small as to 164 x 285mm, then several sizes upwards to 247 x 387mm, probably even larger ones available. The original bag is a golden brown heavy duty paper. The padded filling can be as simple as shredded paper. Vaccum Storage Bags

Advantages: Space Saving Ideas for Home and Abroad
Disadvantages: None I can think of

...I love this idea, whoever thought this up is a genius. A lot of families have storage problems my main pain in the backside is lack of room for excess bedding that i keep spare for guests and what not, So this is magnificent, how the air can be sucked out of the bag with any pipe vacuum cleaner and reduce the size of package to less than a quarter of the size. Brilliant for duvets and pillows i might add and to top it all off it keeps all those bugs away and when you do unpack them they smell as good as the day you washed them and put the items in there. Excellent I would rate these to anybody you can even use them for going abroad and storing your much loved items and reducing space which we all know must happen when traveling on a plane think of the goodies you can bring back !! ...of tampax or any junk that could fit in it. My keys as well. But I soon realized that the bigger the bag the more junk you put inside. A hand bag is a bit like a "portable filing cabinet" or a storage place on the move! They become heavy and when you are in the streets with a couple of kids and a couple of heavy shopping bags you soon realise that a hand bag is useless. ...Burt?s Bees Hand Salve: Another one of my little Burt?s Bees product this hand salve is one my favourites. It comes in a cute 0.30oz tin as it?s a trial size; the full size tin is 0.60oz. The tin is silver in colour and has a yellow label featuring Burt himself. The tin is easy enough to open, it is so easy in fact that I was worried it would come open in my bag but this has never happened in several months of use. The smell is so lovely.
