...Hand Food is the first and only product from the Soap and Glory range I have used (I know where have I been!?!) I've long hankered for the gift sets which are brought out around Christmas but no one seems to pick up on my not so subtle hint dropping. Last week I had taken my Mum on a shopping trip when we popped into Boots, my hand cream was just about to run out so I took a look at what was on offer. I spied some tubes of Hand Food and after reading some rave reviews on DooYoo I picked one up. There were two sizes on offer a 50ml for £2.25 and £4.50 for 125ml, as I hadn't tried it before I got the smaller of the two in case I didn't like it or had a reaction to it. The first thing I noticed when I opened the lid on the tube was the smell of the cream, it's not a scent I can pick out and say "there's a definite aroma of blah blah blah...

Soap and Glory has become one of my favourite product lines and the most recent products of theirs I have tried is the Hand Food. I had heard good things about this hand cream so was really excited to try it. For those of you not in the know, Soap and Glory was created by Marcia Kilgore (who also created the Bliss range) back in 2006 so it hasn't been around for long but it sure has been a big hit. What I love about it is the quirky, funky packaging which to me is quite retro. Why is there fish in my soap? (Palmolive Aquarium Hand Wash)

Advantages: Colourful and interesting in your bathroom or kitchen.

...On offer in my local shop was Palmolive Aquarium hand soap. The product was on a special offer so I was naturally drawn to it. It was three bottles for just less than two pounds. An excellent start to my shopping that day. What I like about this particular hand soap is the packaging, it is lovely. The bottle is clear plastic with the brand at the top then inside the bottle is a little aquarium with little fish freely floating about amongst rocks and coral, how cute is that! The little aquarium you get inside the bottle has very vivid colours and certainly brightens up wherever you want to put the soap. The top of the bottle has a white plastic pump action top that you simply twist to open then just press down to dispense the clear liquid soap. I find hand soap dispensers far less messy than having a bar of soap on the side of the sink...

...It was my birthday last month and when my sister asked me what I wanted I told her that I had tried a few of the Soap and Glory products and liked them so I suggested that she could get me something else from the range. The one that she bought me was the Soap and Glory set called On The Other Hand. As far as I can tell the Soap and Glory range is only available in Boots although it is made by the Soap and Glory Co rather than being an actual Boots product. I have already tried the Hand Food and the Heel Genius and have found them to be really high quality products so I was looking forward to trying this set.
