Why is there fish in my soap? (Palmolive Aquarium Hand Wash)

Advantages: Colourful and interesting in your bathroom or kitchen.
Disadvantages: None.

...fresh flowers on a wet morning. When you rub in your hands it makes an excellent lather and feels very smooth and silky in your hands. I recommend using warm water as this creates the best amount of bubbles and leaves you feeling cleaner. The soap easily comes off your hands when you apply water and when dry smell exceptionally clean and fresh. I would highly recommend this product to anyone especially if you have young children as the fish in the bottle might actually encourage them to wash their hands more regularly! You've got to hand it to Method!

Advantages: Attractively designed dispenser, thick gel, cleans and leaves hands soft
Disadvantages: Quite expensive for a handwash

...French Lavender hand wash in one of their competitions. Those lovely people at Method just got even lovelier in my opinion. The hand wash normally retails at £2.99 for a dispenser containing 354ml of gel. This is not just any hand wash dispenser though. I'm not normally one for describing packaging to any great degree but this bottle is certainly worthy of comment. It is a recyclable container (made from 100% recycled plastic) with a pump action dispenser and a funky almost tear-shaped transparent bottle. It certainly makes a classy addition to my bathroom and is much superior to the look of its (cheap!) predecessor. The contents are a vibrant purple colour and the gel is easy to dispense using the pump and, perhaps because it's slightly thicker than other varieties I've tried, actually manages to dispense without then leaving unslightly...

Cranberry Hand Wash

Advantages: Smells brilliant
Disadvantages: You'll use it all up cos it smells so good

...This hand wash comes in a cranberry coloured bottle (surprise surprise) with a gold coloured pump and is 250ml in size. This is a very festive treat which only comes out around this time of year so you'll need to be quick if you want some. The cranberry is a natural cleanser so it isn't nasty bleach that's cleaning your hands. It also contains organic honey which is an effective moisturiser and helps form a protective barrier on the skin to help keep moisture locked in. It also contains glycerin which helps to soften and smooth your skin. It does smell amazing and that was the first thing that attracted me to it, and it leaves your hands feeling brilliant clean and soft. my guests always seem to comment on it when they use it, and i always tell them to buy their own! My Preferred Hand Wash

Advantages: Texture, Scent , Reliability and Availability
Disadvantages: A bit artificial and very low moisturiser

Nice clean hands for tea

...I began shopping in Boots when I had my two children. I found they had everything a Mum needed. As my children grew up my shopping requirements gradually changed from nappies and wipes to hand washing. Isn?t it interesting that only when we are buying with our children in mind do we start to think about how easy things are to use? Well that became my dilemma when my children became old enough to wash their own hands. I felt that a bar of soap was going to be too difficult for them to use properly and may spend more time on the floor than in the cloakroom sink. Also I couldn?t face the mess a soggy bar of soap leaves in the sink every day! A 'simple' way of keeping hands clean.

Get your filthy hands on this!

Advantages: Easy to use, cleans your hands! Doesn't dry your hands out
Disadvantages: Quite a strong lime smell, doesn't create a good lather

...I was on Asos recently and saw this hand wash. I had a £5 off voucher if I spent £60 more, my basket was at £58 so I decided to buy this hand wash for £2 so I could make up the extra money so I could use my voucher. I had looked at the Anatomicals range before, and although I hadn't tried them before I really wanted to because of their quirky designs and fun product naming. The hand wash is called 'Get your filthy hands on me' which I think is a really fun and playful title. All of Anatomicals products have these kinds of names, which I think makes it a really fun brand and makes me want to buy their products! Underneath the main name ('get your filthy hands on me'), there is written 'Anatomicals, We only want you for your body'. I like how the brand doesn't take themselves too seriously.
