Internal 80 GB Hard drive.
Review of Acer Hard drive 80 GB by
yassarikhan786
Advantages: Quick transfer speed,
Disadvantages: Fairly Bulky
...What can i say this is an internal had-drive which obviously integrates within a computer system. Nowadays 80GB is not enough for anyone as programs are now increasing in size due to their complexity and what they have to offer.
A hard drive is a non-volatile storage device which stores digitally encoded data on rapidly rotating platters with magnetic surfaces. Non-volatile storage is simply the name given to a storage device which can retain stored data even when not powered. With a volatile storage device being one that can not retain saved data e.g. RAM (Random Access Memory).
I used to have an 80 GB hard drive in the past on my "OLD" PC, which was about 5 years ago. Now i have a 300 GB hard drive which i have to admit is filling up really quickly. Due to the number of files stored e.g music, photo, video etc.
This particular...

External Hard-drive fit for rugged adventures
Review of LaCie Rugged Hard Disk Hard drive 250 GB by
yassarikhan786
Advantages: Fast transfer speed, protection from knocks and drops
Disadvantages: Fairly high price
...The LaCie Rugged All-Terrain External 250 hard-drive is a portable storage device which will allow you to store 250gb of multimedia files such as pictures, music and video. You will obviously also be able to hold documents and other files as well (e.g. software installations).
Measuring at 9 cm wide, 14.5 cm long, 2.5 cm in height and weighing just 250 grams, making the LaCie external hard-drive very light as well as portable. The hard-drive is portable in the way that it is very light, the only thing you have to take into account is that you will require a medium to large sized pocket or any form of bag in order to carry the device. You could always opt to just carrying it around in your hand, which is not very practical in everyday life.
All external and internal hard-drives state a certain amount of memory capacity, but in fact...

A Stylish Hard Drive...Really?
Review of Freecom Hard Drive Hard drive 160 GB by
lil_deano_lil
Advantages: Plug and Play, Really Fast Doesn't Overheat
Disadvantages: Nothing =D
...Freecom External 3.5" 160GB Hard Drive
I first got the Freecom external hard 160GB hard drive when my internal one on my computer started to get clogged up with applications and other junk. So I decided to go and buy a Freecom external hard drive which is 160 Gigabytes in size.
Since this hard drive is external, it does have to look good and not look like a tack bit of plastic with wires hanging out of it. With Freecom though, performance and design is everything. The hard drive enclosure itself is made of high quality, heat absorbing aluminium which is 20 x 11.5 x 4.5 cm ( or 7.9 x 4.5 x 1.6 inches ) in size. On the front of the hard drive enclosure is a storage LED indicator and on the back there is one ' rocker' power on/off switch, a usb port and a power adapter port. This hard drive has been givin five awards including...

A hard to damage hard drive!
Review of Iomega eGo Portable Hard drive 250 GB by
thebigc1690
Advantages: Tough, fast and inexpensive!
Disadvantages: None to date.
...for under a hundred quid then you are getting great value for money.
This hard drive is very easy to install to your Pc or laptop, it comes with a disc with the necessary drivers on it and a manual with all the instructions stated in a clear and concise manor. It takes little over two minutes to get the hard drive recognised and up and running and of course once it's been plugged in once it is instantly recognised the next time.
I have found it very fast in its ability to transfer files whether it be to the hard drive form your PC or laptop or vice versa. It handles every type of file that any PC or laptop will and reacts in exactly the same way as an internal hard drive would. It is an excellent piece of equipment and although it is the only one I have used a very good friend of mine was very impressed with the speeds of this hard drive...

Superb flexible hard drive
Review of Maxtor OneTouch Hard drive 200 GB by
tcumming
Advantages: Big, fast, quiet, twin connectors
Disadvantages: Not very portable, needs mains power
...This hard drive is an external unit that can connect to a PC using either a USB or Firewire cable. With a high-speed USB port (USB2) or with Firewire, the speed of this drive is much the same as a conventional internal hard drive, and fine not just for storing data, but also for running applications off of. Be warned though that, as is often the case, it will be considerably slower when connected to a conventional USB port (USB1.1), due to bandwidth limitations. It comes supplied with both USB and Firewire cables.
The drive also requires a connection to the mains, through a supplied transformer that provides the drive with 12V DC, 3A. It is not capable of being powered solely from the USB/Firewire port. It is also a little on the heavy side, so is not an ultraportable model, but one that would be more suited to staying with the same...

International Drive is the right name.
Review of International Drive by
Susie-34668
Advantages: So much to do.
Disadvantages: Lots of tourists.
...So where do I begin. Living just north of Tampa, my husband and I are always popping over to the Orlando area. We will actually be there again on Saturday for a week.
International Drive used to finish at S.R.536 and Central Florida Greenway, which is a toll road. Now with a little zig zag maneuver across 536 and left onto 535, then immediately right, you can continue to Internationa | | |
