...Will this will be my last review of my time in and around America, for those who have catched a few of my reviews, you will now ive had quite an exciting time during my stay, and what a way to end my review, by talking about my last stop before returning to good old London. My last stop on this amazing journey was Hawaii; I had been meaning to visit it many times, but never really got the chance. I always thought of Hawaii as a calm, relaxing and down to earth place, and with no misconception it is, its such a tranquil place, however its also exciting, theirs so much to do and in particular see, which is why this place is such a brilliant place to stay. Aloha from Hawaii

Advantages: Utter heaven.So many different sides to the island
Disadvantages: Travelling time 22 hours.(stop of at America on route)

...I went to Hawaii and stayed in Waikiki which is the tourist area of the main island.Its about a 20 minutes transfer from Honolulu airport to Waikiki and cost about USD25 for a private transfer in a towncar(A posh taxi).Travel is easy around the island by bus.All journeys cost 1 dollar.Make sure you have a 1 dollar note as they dont give change.Bus guides can be bought in the Seven to eleven corner shops for 5 dollars.The number 13 (CHECK BEFORE HAND) is a useful bus running from Waikiki to Pearl Harbour , you have to visit the HSS MISSOURI where so many brave men lost there lives.Admission is free (make sure you pick up a ticket on entry and dont loose it!!)but donations are gratefully accepted.Go early as only about 45 people (We Qed for 2 hours, but lots to see while your waiting)per boat allowed across to the site.First you get...

The show was the first ever music concert broadcast live around the world via satellite, and was watched by an audience of over 1 billion people. The show was a fund-raising benefit to raise money for the Kui Lee Cancer Fund and amazingly the event raised over 3 times the estimate, making $75,000 for the fund. They had arranged for me to go to see them in order that I accompany my Nanna, who had recently lost her husband and my Grandad to Cancer. My Nanna was about 70 at this point and I was 14. Although the idea of going to America was appealing, I would have rather stayed at home with my friends that accompany my Nanna. However, I knew how important the trip was to my Nanna and my uncle, who hadn't seen each other for a good few years so I reluctanctly agreed. This is where the main airport is and its on the island of Oah'u. Based in the south central part of the island, it is about 2 miles from Pearl harbour to the West and Waikiki, 4 miles to the East. Pearl Harbour is once again in the spotlight with the recent film. If you do visit here, you can visit the USS Missouri, docked in the harbour. This is famous for being the site of the signing of the Surrender treaty by the Japanese during World War 2. It stands guard over its fallen sister ship, USS Arizona that lies at the bottom of the harbour. A visit to this attraction costs you about $14. You can visit both of these in either a morning...

...undoubtedly in my wish list of top things I wanted to do, and when the opportunity presented itself during my recent trip to Hawaii, it was too good a chance to turn down. Hawaii is one of the best places in the world to experience swimming with dolphins, as the seas are richly inhabited with eight species of them, the most common being the bottlenose and spinner dolphins, and as a result it is a very popular activity for visitors to the islands. Prior to leaving home we had thoroughly researched the options online, and found that a boat tour to swim with wild dolphins would set us back around $200 each, and of course contact could not be guaranteed. Cheaper boat trips were on offer where you just watched dolphins, but this was something I had already experienced; while magical, I wanted to get a bit closer this time. ...When my wife and I were planning our honeymoon to Hawaii, some time spent on the 'Big Island' was high up on our list. However, unlike our stay on Maui where we wanted a villa, for this short duration a hotel would suffice so I started looking at many of the large resort hotels. After a bit of consideration of price, availability and location we settled on the Hilton Waikoloa Village resort, about 30mins drive north of Kona airport. One of the main reasons for this was that I was able to get a business to business discount at the hotel and the price was therefore very reasonable. The Hilton Waikoloa Resort sits on in the Waikoloa resort and covers 62 acres on the ocean front. There are 3 towers which in total contain 1,240 rooms and large numbers of shops and restaurants.
