...Hawaiian tropic professional tanning oil spf 6 This one seems to come in a range of sun protection factors, most commonly SPF 2, 4 and 6. I am reviewwing the SPF 6 because this is the one I used on my most recent holiday. THE PROMISES... *The product claims to contain the "unique" fragrance ot exotic fruit and flora, including mango, papaya and passin fruit. *It is waterproof (one article i read about it stated that it is waterproof for 40 minutes which seems very specific) * protects skin against sun damage and ageing * moisturising *Absorbs IR rays (although i don't know what they are!) PRODUCT AND PACKAGING The product itself comes in a dark brown plastic 200ml bottle with a screw on/off lid. ....49 so I think i got a really good after sun for a very small price MADE BY... Hawaiian Tropic Inc The website www.htropic.com has lots of informatioon about the products and looking after your skin in the sun VERDICT This aftersun has a lovely soothing feeling when applied after a shower when i have spent time in the sun. It is easily absorbed by my skin and leaves no sticky residue. Although it doesn't smell like the sun oils which I am so fond of, I do like the smell, and because it is so easy to apply, and easily absorbed, i would recommend this to anyone going on holiday, or even as a normal every day moisturiser to keep skin soft and hydrated. ...When I've run out of my usual Nivea Sun Moisturising Sun Spray I took with me to Mauritius, I went to the supermarket with the intention to buy the same product again. However imported goods cost so much here that when I saw the price nearing the £10 mark I started looking for a cheaper or local brand instead which I hoped was just as good in quality. Hawaiian Tropic, a worldwide sun care brand from the US, promised to do just that. The packaging As most Hawaiian Tropic products, the sun spray comes in a tall and flat 200ml orange bottle with a spray nozzle. The shape of the bottle fits nicely in the hand and any bag where space is limited. Apperance and application I've always preferred sun sprays as opposed to lotions and that's because of the easiness of application without the tomato sauce bottle effect...

I buy my oil online (ebay usually) and it costs me about £6 per bottle which is a good price for this, however I've noticed that Netto have it in stock soon at £2.99 (woohoo) so I will be stocking up on it ready for any more holidays next year. *Please remember that it's different for every skin, so remember to reapply according to how your own skin is in the sun. ...Hawaiian Tropic carrot sun gel spf 4 Having recently been on my jollies, and being a bit of a fan of the lotions and potions which accompany pool side living, this is one of the products I decided to try this year. ~~What is it?~~ The sun gel promises to be an advanced formula which offers protection against UVB rays. It contains Aloe Vera and Carrot extracts and is pH neutral. ...Nivea sun oil spray SPF4 I do like oil when sun bathing because sometimes cream just feels as though it's clogging me up. Nivea being a make I tend to trust, when I was last lying in the sun (seems a very very long time ago!!) I bought this assuming that it would offer protection and cause no nasty adverse skin reactions. Never entirely sure exactly what they mean, I was naturally enticed by the UVA 3 stars, although I have seen sun products with higher stars. ~~Product and Packaging~~ The oil is in a dark brown plastic bottle- obviously to give a clear idea of the walnut colour you will go when you use it.
