...This is a must have accessory for any Playstation 3 owner. The best way to send sound and video to your TV to play in high definition is through a HDMI cable. It is the most reliable and easiest way of doing it. A test recently done on the gadget show proved that a cheap HDMI cable will work just as well as an extremely expensive one. They both do the same job and one isn't better than the other. This cable from GAME is one of the cheapest HDMI cables I have seen in the shops and so if a definate buy if you are thinking of getting one. As the Playstation 3 system does not come with a HDMI cable in the box you will probably want to buy one when you pruchase your PS3 and if you are buying it in GAME then you should definitely go for their make of the HDMI cable. No matter how brilliant the Playstation 3 is, no matter how much fun you have with it, the cables are going to be the dullest, most boring bit. This cable has plenty of other uses than connecting TVs up to blu ray DVD players you can connect it up to a Sky HD box a HD TV recorder or playstation three or you can also connect a laptop or a new pc with a HDMI port and certain camcorders/cameras. The connector has nineteen pins in it they are quite hard to see because they are so small. If you need to put the cable any distance this won't be much use since its only one and a half meter. Sony does sell longer cables if you need them there are three meter cables available. Another cable I have purchased is HDMI to DVI it does the same thing pretty much but most computers would have DVI rather than HDMI. ...I have written a review on a similar product, it was hdmi connectors to hdmi connector so I could only connect my laptop up to the TV. The five meter long Hama cable has hdmi connectors and DVI connectors. I bought this handy cable off 7 day shop for £20.00 i think they don't sell it anymore but they do sell other ones with gold plating so they have more detail. I'm sure they sell the on amazon and eBay as well at a much lower price than i first got mine. For those people who don't know look at the products picture in the top left hand corner of this page.
