Reviews of hdmi cable -ps3
Games Console and Home Entertainment in one.
Review of Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) by
CRF88
Advantages: Excellent Graphics, Ample Memory, Free online gaming, Blue - Ray excellent!!!
Disadvantages: Cost a bit(Worth every penny in my opinion)
...controls are simple compared to the X Box. Most people say the price of the playstation 3 will put people off buying well thats the theory but i tend to disagree sony have built a fantastic piece of technology to meet the needs all of its customers for example the provide features such as blue - Ray technology, free online gaming whereas X box charges you to use the X box Live facility, provide ample amount of memory to store your downloaded demos, video clips, pictures, music, and also updates allow the playstation to play multi video formats such as Divx, Avi, Mp4 etc.
Graphics
The ps3 does exactly what it is aimed at doing and that is to provide game users to play hight quality computer games with a crisp and clear picture with or without the HDMI cable. Computer games made for the ps3 have lived up to the much anticipated hype surrounding...

Playstation 3 Vs XBox 360
Review of Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) by
crazyconsoles
Advantages: PS3 is more cost effective
Disadvantages: PS3 has less games at present, but this will change
...Ok the playstation 3 is expensive weighing in at £425 however if you compare just the Basic Hardware with say XBox 360, you will be surprised how cost effective it is.
For example the XBox 360 Premium console, has 20 GB hard drive, headset, wireless controller, AV cable.
And costs around £279, if you can wait until 24th August 07 Microsoft have planned to release the Xbox 360 Elite
The Xbox 360 Elite is an All new Super Sexy Black, with 120GB Harddrive and a HDMI output + HDMI lead all for an estimated price of £320.
However there are some bits missing from the XBox 360:
If you want to connect wyour Xbox 360 wirelessly to the internet your going to need the official 'Wireless Bridge" this will set you back around £60.
The PS3 has built in wireless capabilities, and is enabled from the PS 3 Menu
The Xbox 360 & PS3 both support...

Phew, What a machine!
Review of Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) by
fatboyslim
Advantages: Stunning graphics, excellent array of features
Disadvantages: Game makers may take 12 months to show off its full potential
..., but having seen both I tend to find that the Sony Network is the better. All that is required is for the user to set up a Network account (which is free) is to connect the Ethernet cable to the modem/router and to the PS3's Ethernet port, enter some details like name address etc and thats it you are connected. My friend who had an XBOX 360 could not get connected to the XBOX 360's network and as such gave up in the end.
The PS3 can show all the high definition formats, various games use 720 hd format some use 1080 (these numbers equate to to the number of lines on screen), a basic TV picture is made up of either 525 or 625 lines can't just remember which at present but its one of the two, so you can start to imagine what the difference will be in the picture. Bear in mind though that you will need an HDMI cable to use the high definition format...

The Ultimate Gaming Machine
Review of Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) by
coates187
Advantages: Great graphics, many good features
Disadvantages: not backward compatible
...Well not necesarily "The Ultimate Gaming Machine", but the Sony Playstation 3 was perhaps the most hyped and anticipated gaming machine ever to hit stores, but only before it hit stores. When the PS3 came out, it was well documented that people were not ready to pay upwards of £400 for a console, especially with the top titles not being released for a while longer.
My purchase came a year after the release date, i figured with more top titles out and at a slightly cheaper price, it was time to find out first hand what it is actually like. I must say, i'm very impressed, with an xbox 360 in the house, comparisons are going to be made, but the playstation manages to seperate itself from the microsoft platform, the HD effect is tremendous, although, my HDMI cable did NOT come with the playstation 3, having to fork out an extra £12...

A review on a PS3 40GB
Review of Sony Playstation 3 by
ispypie.com
Advantages: HD, free controller, built in blu-ray and wi-fi, free online play
Disadvantages: doesnt play PS2 games
...The Sony Playstation 3 is really amazing! Don't believe what other people say about how cheap an xbox 360 is compared to a PS3. With the xbox, you have to buy almost everything as extras, for example, the HD-DVD drive is an 'optional extra' costing you £110, and you have to BUY a wireless controller AND charger! And the biggest disadvantage of all is that is isnt even HD on the normal models!
The PS3 comes free with a wireless controller, a built in blu-ray drive, built in Wi-Fi (xbox extra plug in thing) and it's free to go online and play your multiplayer games. Every PS3 console has a HDMI socket on the back for you to plug into a HD TV, and if you dont have wireless internet at your house you can plug your PS3 into the internet with a standard network cable!
The PS3 games have got amazing graphics. Everything looks so clear...

Lexsor LC27M6 27" LCD HD READY
Review of Lexsor LC27M6 by
retrobabe1971
Advantages: Detachable Speakers
Disadvantages: No wall bracket
...found it looked better than i had seen on others. The sound quality was very good also.
The tv comes with the usual remote control but a bit longer than i have seen on others with a directional dial in the centre with all usual features in a black and silver colour like the tv.
There are 9 main sources on the tv remote for different types of viewing. That appear on screen when you press Source on the remote:
1. TV
2. VIDEO
3.S-VIDEO
4. SCART 1
5. SCART 2 AV
6. SCART 2 V/C
7. VPbPr
8. D-Sub
9. HDMI
Does not come with HDMI cable.
Teletext is standard
It does come with a child lock also.
External devices that can be connected include vcr, video camera and Home game system including the New PS3 through the HDMI socket.
On top of the tv are the control buttons for on and off and stand by and volume which i liked...

BenQ FP241W review :)
Review of BenQ FP241W by
kyran07
Advantages: Big, lots of inputs, best in range
Disadvantages: Splash screen cannot turn off
...I got this monitor for christmas and have been using it for my PC and PS3. It's FullHD (1080p) and has 6 video inputs. (HDMI, DVI-D, D-Sub (or VGA), S-Video, and Composite and Component).
It has a very nice stand and comes with a number of cables. It has two USBs at the side and one of the top for webcams.
In use, I've loved it. Perfect if you want 1080p HD and don't have the budget for a 42" plasma. Some people may but put off by the low contrast ratio compared to some of the high end large screens (20000:1 rather than 1000:1) however I have never noticed this ever being a problem.
It has many viewing options, 1:1, aspect and full. Which gives you the option to either view 1080p at native res or strech it to fill the screen.
This is the top end screen out of all the 24"s and I would definatly recommend it to someone...

PS3, for you and me?
Review of Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) by
hackersupr
Advantages: Stylish, good games available + lots more on the way, blu ray
Disadvantages: No HD cable in the box, no rumble, limited BC
...games at their own pace. If you are logged in you can easily switch user by accesing the user tab and selecting your username.
The Settings tab is where you set up all your preferences, for example if you have bought a HDMI cable for your PS3 you can go here and tell the PS3 you are using HDMI and then you can choose what resolution you like upto 1080p. Sound can be set up here as well as configuring access to a wireless network and many other things such as the language of Blu Ray movies and controlling the upscaling of DVDs and original PlayStation games.
The Photo, Music and Video tabs all feature some of the same things. In the photo tab however there is one unique thing which is the slideshow. The PS3 will render your pictures in 3D and have them flip out in a stylish manner which is perfect for showing off your photos. If you insert...

Xbox 360 Elite
Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite by
markymark1234
Advantages: Powerfull
Disadvantages: Erm....... None!
...Power is the first thing that comes to mind when i think of the xbox 360 elite, it has a huge 120GB hard disk drive and the graphics seem to run alot smoother that the original xbox 360 for some reason. I had the original xbox 360 but that died on me about 2 weeks after buying, microsoft seem to have sorted out these little issues that kept crashing the system. The elite has a HDMI port which means you can connect this straght into your HD socket on your tv, I have a 42 inch plasma and i thought the graphics was good on my old Xbox 360 through a scart lead but once i plugged this in i was blown away! The graphics are amazing, perfect detail can be seen on the games that you play. You get the HDMI cable with this system too which is just great as they are quite exspensive to buy, you also get one black wirless controller and a headset...

Sony Playstation 3 (PS3)
Review of Sony PlayStation 3 60GB (PS3) by
dharma.roy
Advantages: Best Entertainment System Avaliable, Region free games only
Disadvantages: 4GB file limitation External Storage, Cant read NTFS
...without it the ride felt so smooth and unrealistic.
It also has a great feature called SIXAXIS which was not in previous versions of the Playstation controllers. This works similar to the Nintendo Wii controllers where it is motion sensitive. This currently is not available in all games yet but I do know that it is harder playing like that but with practice it will be just as easy and more enjoyable. I personally do not like to use this feature as i find it much too hard to control but i guess practice makes perfect.
All i can say about this design is "PERFECTION" i have loved this design since PS1 and i hope they never change it.
The PS3 can support up to 7 Bluetooth controllers that's for than enough for me.
If you wish to use it on pc all you have to do is connect the USB cable that you usually use to charge the controller with to your...
